This is my first car. i don't know the driving while looking for a car. So, started research with Zero knowledge on car. Talked through many friends and colleagues. After research got into more confusion which one to take. Finally put up a plan, Decided the budget and again started investigation which one will suites to me and value for the money. The one which I purchased is not in my list. I was keep on looking for different brands and not able to satisfy either because of quality or maintenance cost. when I was in confusion one of my colleague suggested fiat punto and his experience with fiat brand, which motivated me to have a look.  I discussed with my wife and family about the same. We went to the show room and had look on punto EVO. We are highly satisfied the quality of the product. So we decided to book this car.

After using this car for a month this is my feeling, Look and Style: Looks and Style are okay not modern look from outside. But Dashboard , Seating, boot space etc are satisfied. 

Comfort Honestly i didn't had a test drive while booking as i am new to the driving. Once I got the My Car started practiced with my little knowledge in city on morning and night. Started liking very much of driving. And after 7 days went for long drive(around 800 km at one stretch)  with my family. we really felt good with comfort and car stability. 
Pickup: Initially drove in b/w  0- 100 km. After completing 2000 km start feeling the smooth in engine and pickup is awesome.

Mileage: Recently tested miliage in city I got around 16 km. Need to test in highway.(awaiting to test).

Best Features :  Best Stability on road and build quality.

Cons : I agree with others for customer service is not that great out side of the major cities. I feel comfortable in the banglore.

Exterior

 Color i choosed was Red Wine. Its Beautiful when it was delivered. Lot of chromes but not a issuse when you drive the beautiful machine.

Diffrent Style. sometimes i think may be from back looks like a indica. But once i stop and i will check the back, ok it differs.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 For me its look nice. Dash board is better. That's it.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Same engine(Not now) as in swift. But the space where i can go 170 kmpr in swift can do 160 kmpr in this machine, Because of Solid body. You can trust it on high speed unlike swift.

my average speed is 120 and my average KMPL(Diesel) is 18. And Smooth Gearbox.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Best in this Segment. I ride mostly in Highways. To cut the Trucks,Buses and other cars with this machine is better than any other cars in this segment because of hydraulic power steering.

Cornering also best. But it can't beat my ESTEEM. 

Final Words

 I am travelling from Hyderabad to Trichy(1800 kms up and down) monthly. I test drive lot of cars(5-8 lacs) for my need. Finally i picked this one. And am satisfied.

Areas of improvement  

 Fiat is the only company,producing machines for riders. Please don't change your mind for any reason. And don't change HPS, because i don't want my son to ride without fun.

 

HPS, Cornering, Solid BodyNothing much

I am writing this review after three years or 46500 km driving experience. I had faced the following issues with punto evo.

Within 2 weeks from the date of purchase there was leakage of steering oil. And they charged me for changing the clips tightening the tube.

In 2015 my car met with a small accident and they have changed the front bumper and radiator even though it was in good condition. And after changing the radiator they failed to check the coolant oil level. When reported again they charged me for the same.

All four tyres of my car went out of shape in 26000 kms, when contacted JK tyres they inspected and said it happened due to negligence of wheel alignment and balancing. But whenever i give my vehicle for service in fiat showroom they do charge 900 or 1000 for alignment (i.e at 5000 km and 15000 km). When approached fiat showroom, they said that the life of a tyre is only 25000 km.

In the year 2017, the front power window glass came out of window frame while i was driving. Due to which i met with an accident and there a dent was formed due to impact. When reporting the same, they fixed the window at free of cost and when asked about the dent, they said that they are not responsible for the accident and i should have driven my vehicle carefully by holding the glass in one hand.

In 2018, the dummy fog lamp cover found missing while i was driving and i have fixed the same by paying 1500.

In january 2018, the display in my dashboard alarmed EBD system failure. When reported this issue to the showroom, the service adviser checked my battery life and said that the battery is weak, that is why it is displaying EDB or ABS system failure. And he charged me Rs 300 and i refused to pay the same. I said why should my car say EDB or ABS failure when the battery is week. I took my vehicle to showroom since the issue was big and my car was under warranty.

And now, the coolant oil drained out completely. When inspected this issue with the help of local mechanic, they found that there was a leakage in tube connecting to the engine (In the back side). I have given my vehicle to authorized fiat service station for past three years and faced all these issues.  Now i am paying huge-sum due to there negligence and defective fitting.

This time there is no warning alarm. No indication of temperature etc etc.

For the past three years i have spent 1,50000 plus for running this vehicle successfully on road.

Now the choice is yours😊

Exterior, Vehicle weightEvery thing

The looks good from the outside and rides fine over bumps but it is not exciting to drive and lacks excitement. It is strong enough to handle rough roads. The servicing and maintenance is reasonable and the car is solid. I have covered over 1.5 lakh km in it and haven't faced any major issues. It's easy to drive in the city and go through small roads.

Exterior Decent , Professional looks.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice seats, Ample space. Very comfortable for 5-6 people

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its a proven Fiat diesel engine, the best diesel engine available. Others are copying it.

Ride Quality & Handling THE BEST suspension in this category. Way better than polo and i20 and wayyy better than Maruti's.

Front suspension is too good. Solid grip on road. I sometimes drove Pune Mumbai express way @ 140kmph without any fear of losing control.

Good headlamps. ABS EBD in Dynamic model. Excellent breaks.

Final Words Guyss THIS is the car we need. Safe, Sturdy, Stable, best ride quality. I drove alomost all the cars, polo, swift, i20, Ritz, Wagon R, Liva, Vista. This is the car that is value for each cent of your money. Service centers are increasing.
