MY RELIABLE CAR PUNTO 90HP

Exterior Excellent exterior and wonderfull design thanks to FIAT. My car is Fiat Punto Emotion 1.3 Diesel 90 HP, Bossa Nova White. I go people praises it so much. Personaly when I look at my car I find difficult to remove my eyes from it. It is really a head turner.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior space and comfort is excellent provided by Fiat. At first look space at rear appear to be cramped. But while you sit on rear seats you find it to be extremely roomy. Comfortwise it is uncomparable to any other car of its segment. You get the smooth drive, confident and secured feeling while you drive it. Just take test drives of it and other cars like VENTO, RAPID, DEZIRE, SX4,( sedan in power, ride quality and handling+braking) SWIFT, FABIA, POLO, I20 ( hatch in all expects ) and you could find out the difference. Many people ignore it because of its resale. But if you want to buy a car of your own choice punto is perfect. I have taken test drive of almost all the hatch and some sedan and it was better then all. But now Punto has fulfilled all my expectations. Feature wise the top model offers all the features and you cannot ask fore more. Blue and me, dual airbags, delayed power windows, abs with ebd, auto door locks at speed of 20 kmpr, door open warnings, seat belt warnings etc. If you take turn even at more than 100 km/hr there is no shear force felt by the passangers and the car is extremely stable because of aerodynamic design. If you apply sudden break from very high speed like 120-140 km/hr the steerings is as smooth and controbale as usual driving.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance including pick up, torque is  excellant in this car. Milleage little bit less than swift or i20 but that is at the cost of more weight of the vehicle that offers you more road grip and smoother drive. The car is extremely noiseless and there is no body noise at all, indicating the solid built of the car. It is unlike other cars i drove which is very light and gives you an insecured feeling. The high torque of engine gives car more power which is fun to drive at high speed or in drag race. Gear box is responsive to after first service of new car.

Ride Quality & Handling I drive my car by my own and you wont believe till you drive that, at high speeds like 120-160km/hr car is as stable as on 80-120km/hr. You will have a feel and confidence that car is under control at high speed and in critical situation, Thanks to very very responsive steering and excellent braking as compared to other cars. The door opens at three steps to prevent sudden striking with nearby vehicle during parking. All the bumpyness in the road disappears while you drive it. You can drive in a reasonable high speed even over the speed breakers because of its excellant suspension and high ground clearance of 185cm (170cm of swift and 168 cm of i20). Safetywise Fiat has given highest importance to safety of the passangers which is uncommon in othe cars of this segment. Almost all the safety features of the luxurious sedans is provided in car. Its safety starts from its aerodynamic design. Fiat has even compromised little bit of milleage by increasing the weight to provide more safety.

Final Words I drove my car 45000km in just 6 months and I am  fully satisfied with my decison. You want off-road it will do, you want smooth drive it will do, you want high speed or even rough yes it will do that also for you in any conditions without any compromises. I was a little sad because of its service provided by tata but from 1 jan 2013 new separate showrooms for fiat are opening so I am happy. And congrats to all fiat owners.

Areas of improvement Interior should be improved. In this segment all the cars offer great quality of plastics and rich interior quality even tata vista. But till fiat improves that it can be compromised.

Good interior space, excellant exterior look, good millage, smooth drive, responsive gear box etcinterior can be improve
