Just c the instrument clusters & other part u will fall in love. n ya most imp fiat logo on steering gives royal feeling then others. nice roomy clean and acceptable interiors. 

Fiat ppl noes how to manufature the best cars bt they dnt noe how to market it..can u imagine a basic active version comes with so many loaded features such as........

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

do u wish shal i say need to explian????? hah just mindblowing engine MJD woooooow. Feeling like driving petrol car. ceen the same engine in almost 13 other cars as swift, uva, dzire, sail, indica, ritz, manza, but no one can b close evn in the terms of reliability performance and avry ting.

Run 3500 kms still btu engine feels like butter..owsm sound of engine n ya pick up is less some what till u reach 2nd gear but then u nvr fell that u driving diesel car.. top speed is around 165 kmph some what less then others due to 200 kgs of extra weight but it gives owsm safety & stability solid built car. u vl nvr feel high speed in punto due to weight evn on 150 kmph it seems like as 120 kmph...owsm performance.

it olso uses fully synthetic oil Petronas 5W40 so no wory @ oll how evr u drive car . oil change interval is 15000 kms so peace of mind n evn 1st service at 15 k kms cmprd to maruti as 3 services done in 10 k kms only.

Now abt fuel economy...juj amaging...gives me 19.8 when i rode it arnd 120 kmph and 20.7 @ 100kmph & 23-25 kmpl @ 80 kmph.

gear box is smooth & owsm positive engages gear feels same as smooth and precise as of maruti cars. just changing gears @ 2500 rpm for first 2000 kms & nw at 3000 rpm feeling better nw  

Ride Quality & Handling

 It uses hydrolic steering cmprd electronics as of others but it wins over olll cars in segments in terms of steering response & handling. feels like driving sedan instead of hatchbak due to long wheel base and design

It comes with FIAT"s legendery suspension that nvr let u feel any patholes on the road...juj mindblowing...cnt comprd with worst ride quality of other cars as of swift ritz, indica, even i20...no 1 can match ride and handling of marvelous PUNTO...

u will nvr tired & fatiuge of driving punto ...just searching reason to ride punto lollllz.

Final Words

if u need car that looks owsm, best in engine technology, ride and handling , most imp safety as it comes with 5star safety grade,  best soulmate 4 nxt 7 or 10 yearrs then close ur eyes ang get punto 2day..u vl nvr regret but ya ur surroundin ppl will regret that they nt having it.

 Fiat should teach other car manufacuters that how to build such owsm cars for their improvemnts......lol

 Personal opinion, however, the pearl white color on the exterior with great design of FIAT make look great.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Decent leg room and boot space is great as well. Dynamic variant comes loaded with features (power windows, electric OVRM) which suffices my requirements.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Great pickup, done city driving as of date, the MID displays 15.7 with AC in city have driven about 200 KM. So mileage could only get better from here. Gear box is smooth and shifting of gears is slick. Thumbs up to FIAT Manufacturers , they are doing great work.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Well balanced, have not done spirited driving to comment a lot, but the vehicle is very stable on rough roads as well.There is a patch 100m of road near our house which is loaded with stones and pebbles, and have not been issue in handling the car.

Final Words

 Really happy about the decision made, especially after having various experience of using pre-owned/second hand cars.

Areas of improvement  

 Cant find any now.

 

NVH level are really low and noise not transmitted inside the carnone as of date

Exterior The built of car is like a tank. You can feel it. The crash star rating for Grande punto is 5 as per Euro NCAP. No need to add a Sports badge for imposing as a Sports car. Real racing DNA displayed from each side of the car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are the best. Seats have proper height with the perfect thigh support. You will not feel uneasy after driving for more than 14 hours in a stretch. This is for driver as well as for co-passengers too.

The rear seats are very spacious and comfortable. Nobody complained about cramps during long journeys is the real "Paisa Vasul". MID is the best in all hatch, gives all information about temp, error due to fused bulbs, exact door opening, lots more in the list of comforts provided in Grande Punto.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

1.2 Fire is the perfect engine for every days computation.

I have completed 45K kms in only 2 years of ownership.

Fuel economy is

City 14-16 kmpl with avg speed of 40kmph.

Highway 16-19 kmpl with avg speed of 120kmph.

Gear box is not so questionable too. Smooth.

Clutch plate replaced on 43K kms for Rs. 5800/-

This engine gives the perfect drivability for a real city & highway use.

Ride Quality & Handling Zero body roll with the speed of 80kmph. The stability on high speeds is true racing DNA. Ride quality of Grande Punto is the best in its class for sure. On high speeds the car is very stable. This gives driver a higher side of confidence.

Final Words Fiat grande punto 1.2 is the  perfect value for money car. The features you are getting in this car are not introduced in the rival cars yet.

Areas of improvement Earlier the service centers were the areas of improvement. But now day by day FIAT is opening service centers everywhere with services offering for not only Punto, Linea but also Palios, Sienna, etc. Fiat should to a proper advertise of their worldclass cars and the features given in the cars.

 Exterior look is great with strong body quality.While checking the car in showroom I was unable to close the door as it was much heavier than any other hatchback.Car is a head turner on road nodoubt.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interior quality is good quality though I would rate i20 and Swift have bit better interior than my punto.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

This is a best performer in diesel hatch segment.Gearbox is not that smooth as a Honda Brio/Maruti Swift but still its better.Sometime I was unable to engage it in 3rd gear but no problem we can move to neutral and shift again.FE I am getting is 15km/l mixed city and highway drive with AC on all the time.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Ride quality and handling are the best in the segment.You can not feel you are crusing at 140km/h on highway unless you see your speedo.Highspeed stability is excellent.

Final Words

 Punto is the best hatchback in India so far but the only problem is with service.If FIAT can improve the service like Honda/Ford may not like maruti/hyundai after a year this will be seen as the best selling hatchback in our country.

 Very Stylish, Head turner, Very soli body and heavy car. I took a test drive and people in my road were staring at the car. Very stylish and sporty..Just love the looks and quality. You can feel the Sturdiness when you close and open the door.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interiors are of good quality. Seats are most comfortable. Feel like you are sitting with your body held! Very good options-Height adjuster for seat, Auto climate control, Blu and Me, Steering is the best in segment, comfortable. When you sit inside and drive feel like diving a sedan. Head room is  it small but ok..Not a big concern....

 Best Engine, Butter smooth gear shift, Comfortable driving, even it does not require to change gears when you drive at 20km/h in 4th gear...Very good for city driving, no bumping and jumping, It might give 14 to 16 in city and 19 in highway..Very decent driving car

Exterior It is a beautiful car, but the front is little nosy. Overall, the shape is good looking.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Beautiful and sober interiors, lots of space and extremely comfortable car. Though, does not have flashy interiors and features but soothes you when you get in with its eye friendly built from inside. Also the seating is so comfortable and spacious, you never find problem for leg room or accomodation.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is excellent and quiet, very efficient and powerful for the capacity, fuel economy is OK around 15-17 kms/l in city and 20 km/l on highway, but now after driving it for 20,000 kms, it has started giving me mileage of 19-20 km/l

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride quality, steering control is a litle harder as compared to other cars in segment. But driving of highways is a dream come true experience. The vehicle is so smooth to drive and so much in control.

Final Words Except for the fear that there are not enough service outlets for this product, the vehicle is beautiful to drive.

Areas of improvement Proper service outlets should be available in more cities.

 WORTH FOR YOUR MONEY AND GOOD TO HAVE THAT CAR AS I WAS EXPECTING A BUDGET CAR WITH GOOD FUEL ECONOMY AND LOOKS I WENT WITH THAT CAR .EVEN KNOWING THAT THE CAR DON'T HAVE GOOD SERVICE CIRCLE BUT STILL I DIDN'T MOVED AWAY FROM MY DECISION  ANDRESULTS ARE VERY GOOD NOW. FOR FIRST 1200 KM IT WAS AN AVERAGE PERFORMANCE BUT AFTER THAT IT BULLED UP AND TURNED INTO DEVIL....

Exterior aero dynamic looks exterior is really awesome i like that.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox engine performance is really good no noise in diesel engine. average is up to the mark initially it gives 20kmpl. gear shifting is very smooth power stearing is also good

 

Ride Quality & Handling i really enjoy the driving. handling is good.

 

Final Words i already have figo diesel from last 3 years it runs 1,50,000 km in 3 years i m very happy with figo also now i have purchased punto diesel because i need heavy car. with tough body with good milage punto is my 1st choice among all the diesel hatch back available in market. i think i hv made no mistake. so i happy with my decesion. and dealer gives the best discounts.

 

Areas of improvement  Fiat people need to improve their marketing they have to learn sum thing from huyndai peoples. Fiat is a good brand they have good performance car specially in diesel i dont know abt petrol version. if they do a good markiting for thier product they will get good response from market. dont realy on tata peoples. make ur own marketing channels and more service centre as per requirment.

Final Words When I planned to buy my second FIAT (already own FIAT PALIO 1.9D) the company sales team confirmed that Fiat will expand its Sales & Service network, but nothing has happened.

For Free services Fiat India call centre informed me that Tata service centre at Bathinda is authorized to provide services to Fiat vehicles, while the said service centre says "We provide only paid services & not Free services"

The car is Great Thanks to the Technical Team (back home in Italy), but Fiat India on the contrary is lagging proffessionally, or should I say DOING EVERYTHING TO BRIG DOWN THE SALES of a very good car.

Areas of improvement Do some ground work and expand your service network.Its a real good machine, but backed by a lethargic service team support.
