Linea Emotion Pk or SX4 ZXI... Please advise

 

Dear All, 

I am planning to buy a petrol car in the 7-9 L range immediately and have narrowed it down to the Linea 1.4 Emotion Pk and the SX4 ZXI after reviewing Fiesta 1.6S, Verna 1.6 ABS and Aveo 1.4 ABS too. 

I test drove the linea 1.4 Emotion Pk today (after test driving T-Jet Plus petrol earlier) just after SX4.  Was always impressed by the looks of Linea and was a little skeptical about the emotion pk version due to the underpowered engine (against the turbocharged t-jet) and the slightly lower GC. However, didn't experience a significant lack in the Emotion Pk. It was a test drive vehicle with 18000 kms on the meter but the ride was still outstanding. I am really getting inclined towards the Linea due to the sheer feeling of luxury it gives when you sit inside. The SX4 though great in ride quality, makes you feel short-changed when you feel the plastic interiors and rear space. I loved the 16" alloys though. 

I am a bit confused between these two. SX4 offers a good ride quality, cheaper parts/maintenance and a good resale value. However, the Linea just possesses you with the exterior and interior beauty but lacks a bit on power. Looking forward your your inputs.
