Not much a Fighter Jet compared to Honda City

 

Exterior The look is fantastic.Not more than the smaller Micra or Fiesta anyway.The Verna Transform is overstyled.This is an Italian look though the Aveo is also with Italian flair.The rear is the best when compared to a Dzire,City,Logan and Indigo Manza.The grill is the most good and it is also in the Fiat Grande Punto.We had the Premier Padmini and the Uno which were too old and crude.Fiat Linea is just adequate in front.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The leather seats are classy but cars like the SX4,Fiesta and Aveo offered leather seats before.Only the T-Jet Plus variant has this and T-Jet Linea buyers will miss the leather seats.The equipment like the Bluetooth system and leather seats are excellent.The boot is a 500 litre boot and when compared to SX4 and City is smaller.The Verna has a hatchback boot(The smaller Honda Jazz has 366 litres,talking about the Verna,not the Linea!).The leather seats are only making the Linea T-Jet Plus comfortable.The headroom is less in the back.  

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine of 114 PS is good and faster than the 90 PS normal Linea Petrol but the Honda City is with 118 PS which is more powerful.The Linea T-Jet could have got 126 PS.Cannot know about fuel economy as I did not drive the T-Jet.Good gearbox.

 

Ride Quality & Handling First class ride! The handling is excellent and the T-Jet Linea has still good ride and handling.

 

Final Words The 90 Hp Linea Petrol was the most sluggish petrol sedan.The T-Jet  is launched but paying around that 10-lakh will be over priced.This new Sunbeam Beige shade is good. 

 

Areas of improvement Its price is expensive.Improve the price.
