Working hard just to get a TD !!!!

Hi all,

I am writing for the first time although have been following this section closely since I am very interested in the Linea ever since I heard about it.

But let me tell you just getting through to the fiat people is proving so tough that I am about to give up at this stage only.

As I had read in the newspapers, I first smsed Linea to 5757557 and also registered on fiatlinea website so someone could get in touch with me for the TD. After many days I got a call and was told a Mr. Shri , Phone no.9910697069 will call me.

He never did, and this number is always switched off (last  one and a half months!!)

Next I tried Sterling auto in Noida(I live in Ghaziabad) and it’s numbers 4266610,11,12,13 do not exist !!

So today I called up the toll free help line number 1800 209 5556 and got through after half and hour, and guess what ???………. was again forwarded the number of Mr. Shri !!!!

So I went to Sterling auto in Noida but to top it all, it is closed on Sundays , (the one day we are free to TD !!).Peeped at the car from outside the showroom gates ,like children at the zoo !!( IT’S GREAT LOOKING !).

Somehow managed to get the number of the sterling manager’s number from the guard at the showroom gate, and gave him my number … and lo and behold… finally I got a call from them.. and the TD is tentatively scheduled for tomorrow evening  !!

Hope at least that goes off well !!!!
