Enjoying it from day one. Looks, ride, handling everything is top notch, never faced problem in service so far have driven so far 22000 km, no problem touchwood, rear seat space and legroom is little less but more than ecosport, truly built like a tank. Keep enjoying.
Best car in this segment. Heavy than other cars.. Feel very happy. So who interested in sports and mountain trekking. Have good space. And ground clearance is more than ecosport and other sub. Love to share my feelings with you all. And thanks Fiat who give such a lovely car in India.
Well, it was love a first-sight experience with my Avventura-I called UFO way back in 2014. Saw it in a road show near my office and decided to give it a try. Honda Jazz was almost final but changed decision after its test drive. Also, had an excellent buying experience in the Wheels Fiat Mohali. They gave an excellent discount along with common accessories like mats, mud flaps, perfume, complimentary 20 Ltr fuel, and car cover. The Driving experience was different from most cars I have driven by then, took me some time to get adjusted to its low engine-to-gear ratio. However, once got adjusted, its power and torque enthralled me. It was a head turner, zaffarano orange beast with unconventional design and a certain road presence. Its cross design, stance, and ground clearance along with aerodynamic design (no sharp edges-only rounded curves) was awesome. It did not have many cosmetic features apart from a basic Harmon Cardon Music system and four (maybe 6) speaker systems, rain sensors, speed lock, customizable speed alert, etc. Its tailgate design was unique with a sturdy arrangement for the Stapny wheel.
I drove it in all seasons in mud, plains, Himalayan roads, desert and where not! Took excellent mileage between 18 to 36 km/l depending on my driving style. The best I took for record purposes is 36 Km/l at 55 km/h and an average of 25 to 28 km/l max 90km/h, Isn't that great?
I loved it for its sturdiness, thuds, low cabin noise, and dependability even in far lands (away from any mechanic)
I even fitted a roof-mounted tent on it and enjoyed camping in the forest.
Service was not that big an issue, of course, it was a bit costly at authorized service stations but after warranty I got it serviced for under 6K/15000kms from a local service mechanic!
Over the years and a 1.7 L km entourage, got a few things replaced/ repaired as well like a tire change after every 55 km (my choice), a front shock absorber pair left the front light after E rickshaw hit it in stationary mode :(, vipers, battery, some rubber pipes, clutch after 1 .2 L, windscreen (damaged by a brick fall in the rain while parked under a balcony front grill after I pushed it in a range rover etc.
Most importantly, it never let me down or left me stranded on any of my trips
No more with me now due to BS4 restrictions and 10-year diesel norms.
Miss this wonderful vehicle.
