ARAI inaugurates a new homologation facility at Chakan

Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) has inaugurated new homologation facility and Technology Centre at Chakan, Pune. With the installation and commissioning of this new vehicle crash test facility complete now, this new organisation offers services to automobile manufacturers for testing products for the domestic as well as the export market.

Sportscar? Or a kit car with a 250bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged engine sourced from Renault? Well, it’s now available in a Limited Edition and in a more powerful avatar.

Local Motors debuts 3D-printed car at 2015 SEMA

At the ongoing SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Local Motors unveiled the LM3D Swim, the latest rapid vehicle iteration leading to a fully homologated 3D-printed vehicle, designed to be safe, smart and sustainable. The auto manufacturer will begin pre-selling models in 2016.
