Exterior Looks great and far better than the closet competitor, Alto800.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Fairly good. Has great back seat & good space. Even the storage space is ample. It has 2 bottle storage & a tray. You can store walets, change, phone, etc. Audio system is also great. It sounds really well gor the price of the car.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Disapointing geatbox. Ok fuel economy. But it can pull on accelaration then you want.

Ride Quality & Handling 180mm ground clearence maks for avery comfertable ride. Rides really well even on bad indian monsoon roads.

Final Words For the price in the given segament India finally got a better car than the dated Maruti cars. It has a great look & gives a lot of space inside. Engine may not be able to rev high but can accelarate at will, that is a great help in traffic.

Areas of improvement Gearbox. No central locking.

Great AC, lots of storage, stearing abilaty, music player. Ok fuel economy, lookNo bluetooth. No rear speakers. Small glove box.

Exterior It seems to be good in near. But from far looking it semms to be crashed . so, it was disappointing.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I have not seen such a worst interior never before. maruthi, alto 800 gives a decent interior but it was just like a box in a state of unfinished condition.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It does not gives pickup in 2nd gear and it vibrates like hell. The 5min that I ride in this car is waste for me.and the gear box is not smooth as the petrol car. It was just srrucking.

Ride Quality & Handling Power steering is mind blowing and the riding quality is worse. it gives more sound inside the car. and it doesnt gives the mind to ride the car. the suspension was not fare in very harsh roads but ok for city but not safer for highway rides.

Final Words It was worst in this segment. rather u can go for maruthi, alto and eon etc.., which will give u a smooth and mind blowing performance when compared to this car. so do not get entered in to it.

SteeringAll rather than steering such as interior built quality, finishing, ride quality.

I am using this since 1 year Its will give sound while running..like some internal plastic part is not stable Brakes are too bad..they will give terrible sound after first service..this is worst part..Ur life may be in danger Ac is too good but once u started ac Ur car pickup totally gone....which is not in case of Eon and alto Only best part is its space and driver seat It's waste of money

Its been over an year owning this car. i bought this car in august 2016. i am writing all the pros and cons that i have faced over an year.

Exterior The exterior of this car is very promising with cool curves and very dynamic design makes is predominant then the cars of this segment. the ground clearance  is quite high and resembles a good muscular stance. low nose and curves bumpers also give it a nice aerodynamic advantages over kwid. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Inerior is quite standard like the cars of this segments but the color of my steering wheel has started comming off. the plastic is very light and vibrates a lot with jerks.specially the glove box side. the space is quite decent  also the music system panel needs more work in terms of quality of aux jack and buttons that does no illuminate at night. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good as you can not expect more from 800 cc engine. the engine is very noisy at the first start and the RPM of engine gets high automatically and then comes down gradually. it has not that good low end torque and the 1st gear is very jerky. with an electric accelerator the acceleration is not that smooth and power feels low on gradients. 

fuel economy of the car is very impressive it goes to 22 kmpl on highways even with AC on and the cooling is very effective. Gear box is smooth and shifting is very easy.

Ride Quality & Handling you can feel each and every pebble on the road when it strikes the cars mudguard specially rear side. sound proofing of the interior is very necessary. the suspensions are nice and responsive. but absence of front roll bar can be felt while driving. the steering is smooth as wine the electric steering is very stable at high speed and handing is awesome.

Final Words Although its a good budget car in this segment but company can improve in terms of quality.

cons.

The door handles are low grade plastics and will come off easily.

there has been a lot of problem with the lock system of the boot with my car specially.

The locks are fitted with plastic holders that too low quality.

Although its a nice city car and i cannot complain a lot in terms of materials with this price tag. its been really good having this car but the company has more to improve even if it costs increasing the price of the car.

Good fuel economy , good body design, good electric steering.Negligible sound proofing, very low quality plastics for steering wheel.

No reliability -Waste of money-Will save lump-sum in maintenance if you go with maruthi or suzuki. Good inside space and small car.

On 16,000 kms clutch wire got cut in highway ,service history is the proof I have. Some how I managed to save my family in the express highway,during clutch wire cut. Vechile electronic system failure and didn't start mid of the highway.Towed and serviced.

After 20,000 kms mileage drop from 16 to 11 km. In highway it gives around 19 km/l.

After 22,000 kms A/C system failed totally. Poor service on nissan showrooms,they don't have spares in the service center,will take 2 -3 days to replace any parts .Every time I visit service center I really miss maruthi's service and customer experience.

Still having guts to waste your money in this car. Buy it and experience inconvenience. Never belive this car and take your family for long trip and end up in trouble.

Due to financial crisis I am unbale to change my car now to maruthi or suzuki. Will definietly change my car ASAP.

Only good look. Other wise nothing to hav this car. Poor build quality . Poor interiors in using cheap quality plastics . Totaly wasted my money. Even compared tata nano nano build quality good. interior also good floor material also good. Nano lx have fog lamp. In redi go doesn't have fog lamps . I am totaly disappointed with this redi go.

Bought this car in Oct from unitiy nissan shalimar bagh .. "customer's  unfriendly service center"" and plastic smile sales team

I got this car with list of issues, like 

1) Ignition switch was hanging inside the dashboad chasis ( literally hanging) and service center is finding it normal but on insting they fixed it

2) Stereo is having issue of hizz sound

3) Sond in shocker on breaking

4) In city mileage was low

Got my number plate after 3 month and the promised freebies are yet to be recived.

Rest of the issues are open and strugling with those, have serious deilma for future service and support.

Exterior over all look is fine but the metal sheet is like so depressing that it get dents if some one stand next to car with weight on it, paint is like rip in layes look like no base coat has been done.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I got my car with malfuction stero for which i am chasing unity service center from last 3 months but as per then they are not getting any support from Nissan.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It start with sound like you are in chopper, when u put brakes u hear shokersound quite often.

Ride Quality & Handling good in terms of driving and handling, drive is not bad on long routes, but is not ecnomical in city driving in terms of mileage.

Final Words Seriously datsun either stop selling this car for personal use r need to provide quality service. I really appreciate there call center but their team must have to see ground reality.

Areas of improvement Safety and quality are big concern in this car.. till last 3 months i am following with customer care but now i am feeling real pain when i talk to service centre and regret with my descion to buy a something with assumption of nissan quality and that really disappoints me.

Buying experience was good, but Nissan_datsun still have to work on sales, riding experience is good on highways, best riding on 80/90 km/HR, power steering is like butter, in 1st or 2nd gear car feels jerky, looks are nice, exterior is eye catching, Interior could have been better, space inside is good, boot space is good, cabin is roomy , sound system is OK, AC is OK for 800cc,power pickup is also OK, single wiper doesn't cover full windshield, ground clearance is best in class, engine sounds little more in starting and over 80km /HR, power of engine is not sufficient in high altitude some time,plastics inside is low quality, even mudguard are also very poor quality, riding on long distances is good, mileage is 21-23,maintenance is not so high, driven 12000km in 10months,service centre are not serious abt there job. Pros-exterior, steering, ground clearance, space, mileage, price, Cons-engine noise, pickup, interior, plastic material, after sales service. Final verdict - provided the price it is a good time car, you can go for it, something good something bad, every car has this , but you can get something different in this entry level segment

Own this car from March 2017. Every thing is fair and good except fuel economy. It gives 10km/ltr in city with AC, while without AC it extends to even 16km/ltr. Apart from this issue everything is fair and good.i have even got an average of 23km/ltr in the highways with AC. It's was a trip of around 1200kms.
