Exterior Excellent aerodynamic design, Definitely all the eyes are on the car while you move on the roads.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Really very good plastic and quality. Design is performed to perfection.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Awesome, Thats what i could tell. Specially in the budget cars you wont get a 1.2 ltr engine for which we have to bow our heads to Datsun.
Ride Quality & Handling Amazing, I drew 1500 kms. All the cars fought and finally settled down with thurst while I was cruzing away. Immeadiately after delivery I drove 800 kms with small breaks.
Final Words Dear reviewers, We have to compramise with some things while we are behind the budget. So one popint i would like to suggest is Datsun is the best in class car in its segment, so dont bother just make your booking.
Areas of improvement If anything is improved then cost would be hiked. So I dont want to make a price hike.

Exterior
( + ve) Designed well. Good looking when compared within this segment of cars. The rear design is good when seen from 60 degree angle.. I have taken white color and the quality of paint is good.
( - ve) Quality of fibre used on bumpers is weak, (once it's towed by Gurgaon police and front grill got a diagonal crack, logo emblem became shaky, bumper came out of its grove on left side)
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Dashboard feels clean & neat, ideal layout. Digital display is provided in top model (T) its informative, Connected seat is not of great use, instead a better bucket seat would have been ideal with bottle holder in the middle. Hand brake position is interesting. Space is excellent with amazing boot space.
(-ve) Major pain point is the external rear view mirror adjustment. No lever provided from inside to adjust it, the left view mirror adjustment is a big problem area and I don't think this should have been considered when cutting cost. Glove box doesn't have a closure which is a big let down. Left power window control is not on driver side, another pain area. Major security measure compramised is the light indicator not working when other doors are open except for driver side door.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
( +ve) Engine being 1.2 litre has good pick-up. I have taken this car to Himalayan destinations like Rishikesh, Shimla, Mussorie, performance is excellent and no lag in pulling. Gear shift is smooth and not much cranky.
(-ve) Mileage is a huge concern. I have driven 5000 kms now and average I was able to get is just 13 kmpl. Its a mix of city and highway driving.
Ride Quality & Handling
Decent ride quality. Can't be great as the tires are just 13 inch and feel bumpy at times. Shocks are good for city conditions but on highway a small road hump or any pothole worth a mention of its size are connected into the body and Nissan should seriously think bettering this..
I feel if tire size is upgraded to atleast 165 on a 14 inch radial might bring a difference. ( Stock tire size given is 155 on a 13 inch radial)
Final Words
A good buy at the current price if looking for a second car or at entry level cars for new buyers. Mileage is a let down, so better be prepared. Can't compete on this front with K-Series engines of Suzuki. Over all a good package.

Exterior Good exterior with shape and style, worst door quality that sounds worst, central locking is not working, I sold this car with in 4 months with the loss amount of 1.5 lac.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Not comfortable to sit in driver seat and put gear.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good pick up but fuel ecconomy is worst (10kpl), gear shifting is worst than anything, even gear for heavy load trucks would be better than this.
Ride Quality & Handling Worst experience in ride quality.
Final Words Dot buy this car since zero star rating in safety, better go for maruthi product. if you buy this product then you will defntly sell in three months. I urge datsun to bring changes in this car by getting suggestions for your buyer. really not worth for money.
Areas of improvement Everything needs to bve improved. purchase a new car with comfort was my big dream but my dream got failed by purchasing this car. I request all car manufactures to do safetey testing before giving to the market. Put safety ratings in your manual.

Exterior The Datsun Go T is a well designed and cute looking car from all exterior angles. It looks best when viewed from a higher vantage point! The Body coloured bumpers and matt finish on the windows sils add beauty. Datsun looks as big or even bigger than other larger cars like Ford Figo, VW Polo or Swift.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The Datsun Go offers plenty of space on the inside to comfortably seat five passengers and also ensures that their large luggage fits in too. We are a family of five and travel quite comfortably..! The plastics are of good quality and although not too fancy meet my utilitarian requirements. I don't really miss the dashboard from my old car..!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is smooth and delivers power in a linear fashion, most likely because of the electronic gas pedal. Although a bit noisy initially, once in motion the engine gets into a steady tone. The large engine has lots of reserve power. I haven't yet run in the engine, so keeping it slow and smooth for now. I hope the mileage improves over the days, I get 15 Km/litre with 80% of the total 300 km covered in city traffic.
Ride Quality & Handling The car is well controlled and has a small turning radius, thus enabling city folks to twist and turn with the traffic. At speeds up to 80 KM the car is perfectly poised and the ride quality is really good. I havent yet crossed the 80 km mark since the engine is new; but I don't think there should be anything wrong with the handling even beyond 110 Km/hr. Having said that, during quick acceleration, the front tyres tend to squeal from lack of sufficient traction. This could be because of the car's low overall weight.
Final Words I bought the Datsun having remembered the brand name from my Africa days decades ago. I trust the Datsun name and this is a good car that offers great value for money. For those with family, it is a wiser choice than other car brands within the same price segment. The Datsun offers you more space, comfort, and a powerful engine without compromising on fuel consumption.
Areas of improvement The doors could be made to sound a little stronger and the steel thicker. The datsun company can do something to ensure a duller and heavier thud on the sheet metal thus giving more confidence to the owner and passengers. Could also include a day/night rearview mirror. Improve the suspension so that the whole car doesn't vibrate and bounce around when hitting rough roads.

I bought my brand new datsun go in May,2016.I was earlier in dilemma about my car purchase since my budget was low & cars offered in my budget were lacking in terms of space, power ,engine capacity etc. After researching I came across Datsun Go,I reviewed the specifications and compared with variuos car [Maruti Alto,800,Eon...]. I had earlier made my mind to buy Maruthi 800 but my wait was worth for "GO".
Datsun Go is a car which is powered by 1.2 litres VTVT engine with power of 68bhp & torque figure of 110Nm.Being a light weight car it offers excellent pickup & power to weight ratio is also better than some of higher segment hatchbacks. As far as space is concerned it offers excellent cabin space with 5 seated comfortably. I took my datsun go for a trip to Ooty from Chennai with my family, complete baggage was kept in my car's boot which offers 265 liters of storage. Also i achieved fuel efficiency figures of 18Kmpl with 5 seated on including the drive in hills.
GO has a excellent ground clearance of 165 mm which i realized when I drove my car to Tent house in ooty through a hilly route.the only problem I feel about my GO is tyres offered by Datsun which are too small which kets you down a bit while hard cornering. But looking at features & specs offered at the price I can say "It;s Worth the Money". I took my datsun Go at a top speed of 140km/hr on expressway & I was very confident while driving at such speeds.it offers a effortless drive.
Verdict:If you are looking for a small car with Specification of an higher segment car & space for family of 5 then dont wait, just go to grab your own "Datsun GO".

Exterior Looks very small.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Missing essentials like Audio, parcel tracy etc.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engipe performance is poor. I bought this car on Sep 10th 2014 and Now i am writting review on 21st Oct 2014. Till date car broke down twice. Nissan road side assistance is very poor. Mechanic came within time of 5 hours after complaint but couldn't repair on the same day but vehicle was towed on the next day to service center and returned after 4 days time. Service center didn't reveal whats the problem exactly but what i understood is some serious problem with the engine and they are hiding the same. Car driven just 1800 km till date. Fuel economy is 15 km. Gear box is not conenient. I am planning return or exchange the vehicle.
Ride Quality & Handling Not cool.
Final Words Not worth. Dont buy. Maruthi 800 far better than this vehicle.
Areas of improvement Everything.

I bought Datsun Go car this month after analyzing a lot on hatchbacks of its range and found this car completely different from other hatchback cars. The differences like its front look which very dashing and very beautiful you will not found this kind of front look in any hatchback car in India and then its back look also which is also very beautiful and no other car of its range can compare like Eon and Alto etc. and the most important thing is its engine power which is 1198cc and this is incredible because you will not found this engine power in any other hatchback car in petrol versions. So the car is having very good power. Space yes this car is very spacious in sitting area and in boot area. And now I will come to the main point which the car mileage and as the Datsun claim for 21 kmpl but presently I am getting 13.3 in my first month and I hope that it will definitely increase after some time and after first service. Overall I am very much satisfied with this car and happy to have it.

I am Sajith S Kumar. I have purchased Datsun Go AEPS model from trivandrum, kerala, India on 16th feb 2017. The dealer name is Marikar. I want to say that i am really disappointed with the delivered car. Being a world renowned Company, Nissan should have given basic covering for the car interiors. The car interiors are not fully covered, mostly left open. When I complained it to the dealer they said the base model car comes like this, higher end variant is coming with the interiors covered.
Only Nissan have offer something like this, basic covering of car interiors comes with the higher end variant only. The dealer shows car with fully covered in the showroom and explains nothing about these remarks and the customer knows only at the time of delivery. I have purchased from other companies also Hyundai and Maruti and they have given the car in excellent condition but this is the worst experience. I have given the complaint to a customer executive who called from Nissan India to know my review about the car, he said he registered the complaint still nothing yet been done. Totally disappointed. So please do check all interior coverings.
