Most Helpful Review | Good Product Proposition but lot of improvement required The car serves our purpose…overall product proposition is fantastic, saving us lot of money. Actual range is 200-220 km in full charge and not 325 km as claimed. But then Tata still needs to figure out the quality-related stuff…gaps in panels, panels coming off, roof rubber coming off…not expect this from such a large brand. Such minor issues impact the image of the brand. | Would not recommend XUV 500 W4
Exterior Good, looks similar to the other varients.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are pathetic. Feels very low end and no value for money.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Humming noice wile driving, gives 8-9 kmpl in traffic.

Ride Quality & Handling Not bad.

Final Words XUV 500 W4 - It looks similar to the W6 and W8 externally, except for features that it doesn't come with - like alloy wheels, foglamps etc. The biggest setback is the W4 interiors. Dashboard area around the music system has poor finish and poor quality plastic. It's definitely a put off. Fabric seat covers are of sub-standard quality. What's worse is the fact that there are no accessories available for the W4 - Accessories like fog lamps, reverse camera, reverse sensors, DVD player doesn't exist with Mahindra. Once you sit inside the W4 you realize that it's no value for money. I won't recommened the W4 to anyone willing to spend 13.5 lacs, there are options with better features available in the market.

Areas of improvement Mahindra will need to make accessories available for W4, especially to cover up the shoddy interiors. Eg: Music system console, DVD player, Reverse camera, Reverse sensor, Fog lamps etc.
ExteriorInterior |
