Tata Altroz vs Honda City 4th Generation

The Tata Altroz Racer, as the name suggests, is a racier version of the standard hatchback with a more powerful engine, cosmetic changes, and additional features. Here is our first drive review of it.

This is the latest iteration of the Honda City, a successful three-box sedan still going strong after more than two decades. It's still this fifth-generation avatar introduced in 2020 but gets some more updates. The most important ones are an RDE-compliant engine and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Look closely, and you'll see the elegant exterior design exudes a sportier character thanks to the revised bumpers. These are tastefully done and look like extensions with a carbon fibre look. The grille mesh pattern is revised and there's a new addition of this Obsidian Blue Pearl exterior colour that looks fantastic.

This is the new CNG variant of the Tata Altroz. It joins the CNG portfolio of the carmaker, alongside the Tiago and Tigor. Its prime competitors are the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Toyota Glanza which are also offered in CNG versions but fewer variants; the Altroz CNG can be had in as many as six variants.
