Most Helpful Review | Very nice Nice looking for Celerio car I am purchase by me the best car in family membership very nice mileage ... The car us a very very nice car from the family is the best drive and average. | A Fiat Punto User for 5 years
Being a Fiat Punto Active user for last 5 years I personally thought it was important to post a review for users who are looking for reviews from people who have used this car brand for a longer period since it was launched in India just over 5 years back. Having owned a Maruti Zen for 6 years before buying this car I can objectively say that it has been an overall bad experiece for me. Each year the car has thrown up some or the other major issues with me having to spend 20K - 25K on an average every year on major repairs. Note that not even once have I had a single accident and the fact that my car has only run for 30000 kms (since it always had some issue) so there is no question of any major wear and tear. Following are the major repairs required every year -

Year 1 - Entire electric circuit replacement

Year 2 - Power windows, door lock damage (both front doors) & broken plastic interiors

Year 3 - Fuel tank & its meter issue

Year 4 - Power steering oil leaks requiring cable & pad replacements

Year 5 - Gear box & clutch replacement

For all 5 years the authorized service center openly acknowledged poor quality of the car brand, were apologetic but had only one answer 'needs replacement no choice'. It amazes me that an well known Italian car manufacturer can deliver such poor quality product. And I sincerely hope that no one undergoes the emotional agony. Irony there is a 'Emotion' variant of the car as well.

Body strength & StabilityCheap interiors, Low mileage, Engine, Electric circuit problems, Clutch problems, Power window perf |
