Looks are misleading

 

Average of car is a suspect. it is giving me 10km/lt in city and 14.5km/lt on highway. I bought spark on 22nd august 2008, within six months the silencer of the brand new car started troubling me, I went to the local dealer ( Vardajyoti Automobiles Pvt Ltd. ), they refused to change it claiming it to be a consumerable item and so not covered under three years warranty. i was forced to buy the part from open market as it was not worth paying 3 times the price for a original product which could not even last six months. For next two years my ordeal with the silencer of spark was equally bad , repairing and replacement became a habit. Finally in  May 2011  again i paid for the new silencer and took it as my fait accompli. In first week of august, again i found some knocking sound , i took the car to the dealer for check up. They said they will put it on lift and check. After checking they said there is no problem it is perfectly OK. On 28th August again the knocking sound started, after getting checked again with the service people, they said the silencer pipe has gone,and requires replacement. And the replacement will be charged as the car is not in guarantee anymore.

I simply fail to understand what exactly the company means by three years warranty, when things are dependant on the whims and callous attitude of the dealer and company at large. I hope the company does not expect the car owners to stand under the raised platform with The service people and get it personally checked when they not even let us enter the workshop. My experience with SPARK for three years is so pathetic that i have finally decided to sell it.
