Final Words I hv booked a SAIL from SHIVA MOTORS (NOIDA) Sandy Grey and paid token money on 09th FEB but I hvnt recd the car as yet . There is NO FEEDBACK. The sales ppl at dealer point as as clue-less as a poorly prepared student in board exam. I am so frusted that I am calling back my money.

I have visited them alteast thrice in order to get the status but to no avail. The sale person who was supposed to be handling my case has vanished since HOLI, his mobile is ''switched-off'' and I am clue-less as to what to do??

Suggest getting move on with others as this wait is simply ''end-less''.

Very aptly said - there is some internal issues with GM which is not communicated to outside world.

Mine is no. 3 in the booking order.

Exterior

 Gives a huge look, no doubt. Particularly, when upgrading from ALTO Lxi, it seems like a jump. The boot seems to accomodate anything and everything you can think of !!

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Quite spacious. Three adults at the rear seat can comfortably travel a distance. Enough headroom. Infact, the interior has been thoughtfully designed. The square box, near the gear lever, is very useful. Instead of two cup holders, this box is quite big and serves many purposes, particularly on a long drive. There are two other holders ( We use it for ash tray and perfume ) are quite handy. Door pockets, space below the rear seat is very very useful. Rear arm rest with cup holders are an added advantage.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Owned this WHITE CHEVY last October. Not much idea on the engine details, but noissues so far. The gear box is  smooth. Sometimes, the reverse gives a problem, i.e, after you put on to reverse, the reverse music starts, but the gear has actually not been applied. You can feel the difference. Once applied, it's okay. Had a drive for about 1300 KM last week, quite surprised to see an average of about 21 KM/Litre ( both with AC ON and OFF, crossing cities and run on highway ).

Ride Quality & Handling

Superb. Ground clearence is a bit low and needs to be taken care of. Potholes created during rains can be testing at time. Rather to slow down, than to be adventurous!

Final Words

  You need to love your car, the car will listen to you !! Take good and proper timely care, you will be cared for. It's part of our family. We are proud of our new family member.

Areas of improvement  

 Not sure, what to ask for, with this price tag. Will get back, once I find out !!

Almost everythingNothing as such

Exterior: Looks like mini cruz, love the front grill & the back too.Many people complain about the back of this vehicle, but i find the back much better than Swift dezire & Honda amaze.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) : Good features, great space & great driving comfort. The Cockpit cabin gives a premium feel in the vehicle.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox : Just efficient engine, Petrol sail sedan gives me about 15km (with the AC on)still havent hit my first service which is a good thing so far.

Gearbox : Looks great. Smooth transmission, good noise control.

Ride Quality & Handling : Good suspension, feather smooth transmission & good sound proof build, Fuel milage is just appropriate.

Final Words : Have 6Lacs & need a sedan? Must buy! Great value for money & perfect for city drive. Looks amazing.

Areas of improvement : Audio mounted controls on the steering.missing logo on the steering wheel which is something that shouldnt have been compromised.

Exterior Excellent Styling, Length More than 4 mtr under lakh, Best in class exteriors

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dash is not appealing, Good features, Good in space, Rear seat Perfectly accomodates 3, Arm rest in the rear seat make it look more classy, Roomy feeling inside, centrally located power window switches.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The power delivery is fairly linear , Max Bhp in the segment of 1.2 l petrol, Also good fuel economy, Gearbox is a little bit Notchy.

Ride Quality & Handling Sweet spot with good ride and decent handling characteristics. Great city ride, Best suspention, Good Gear Ratio, Highway drive feels unsecure at high speed, Little Body Roll in high speed.

Final Words The Sail NB is an affordable and practical sedan as it has good space, decent design and features, drivable and frugal engines. 3 year warrenty, Good to buy lower variants, Check for after sales service in service centers.

Areas of improvement Body roll, Stearing mount controls.
