Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Good but mine is base model so I cofigured it according to my pocket. Ample of space in the car

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Smooth, Fuel Economy is also good on A/C 15 km/l --if speed below 80 km/hr, above that It drinks Petrol like water. Gearbox is good but not that soft in reverse gear.

Ride Quality & Handling

Soft & Superb. Love this car. Handling is soft , power stearing I believe it should be little softer. but I find it better than DZIRE and AMAZE.

Final Words

 Macho...Love to drive this car, enjoying the ride since i bought, Nov 1st 2013 .have good suspension..

Areas of improvement  

 Horn should be in the center of stearing .Chevy should check why little noise in dash board. Base model should have music system or automatic rear windows and Lamps in front Bumper.

Exterior LOOKS PERFECT SEDAN CAR. FIRST OF ALL KINDLY NOTE THAT IF IS NOT A SUB 4 MTR CAR.  GREAT LOOK FROM FRONT & BACK.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) There is lot of features in Intirions ( Lots of strorage space, Cup Holder, Bottle Holder ). Ir is more specisious and comfort compare to sub 4 mtr car.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performace is decent. We are getting 18-20 kmpl average .  Gear box is also smooth.

Ride Quality & Handling 5 point out of 5 for the ride quality and handling . The shock absorbers are perfectly tunes for indian roads.

Final Words If you want a perfact family Car with Good Price, Good Ride Quality and Handling, Lots of Intiriors Space, Godd Boot Space,  Decen Fuel Economy,  Decent Power and also a safe car then go for the sail sedan.

You will get Perfact Sedan Car ( 4250 mm Long ) under 8 lacs with AIR BAG, ABS & Intigrated Music systems with CD Player. 

Built quality of sail sedan if far better compare to Amaze & Dzire.  ( You will notice Heavy Engine Bonnet, Heavy Door).

Areas of improvement Only Intiriors plastic quality should be improved.

LOOKS, SPACE, HANDLINGINTERIORS PLASTIC QUALITY

Purchased Sail LS ABS Diesel in the month of June 2013. I liked the shape of car when compared to Amaze and swift. Its really a sedan. But compared to Amaze and Swift, Sail performance is not up to the mark. Engine capacity is quite equal to swift. Interior Space is really good. Really impressed with the interior and exterior looks. This Mid variant equipped with ABS and EBD which is a best part when compared to swift in this range. But I was facing a common problem with this car is noise in the dash board. Following are my comments: Exterior : Good Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) : Very Good Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox : good Ride Quality & Handling : Good Final Words : Good Areas of improvement : performance, Noise reduction. Overall am satisfied with this car because we can get everything in one car.

Good style, ComfortMileage, performance.

Exterior Front view not bad and look like Cruze, backside notgood look like a duck, door opener very old style, back tail lamps also not attractive. side body line not austhetic. It should be like corrolla Altis! Price look like attractive but all plastic and inside materials are all cheap looking.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space ok, window opener for front doors is very difficuilt to handle, front panel is very small and awesome, stearing look also bad. Boots space ok. Engine vibration is feelin during running.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is not outstanding. No fuel economy only 15 km/L  of Diesel in highways. 9 km/l in city. Doors and suspension make sound during running. Gear box stuck sometime during shifting to 3rd from 2nd. 

Ride Quality & Handling Power stearing and breaks are good.

Final Words Not recomended to buy, dont belive in Chevrolets words, Poor after sale service.

Areas of improvement Very bad very bad very bad very bad, Don't buy... So no need to improve!!

Break system and power steering systemLow milage, poor upholstery, old style outside door opener, and poor servicing

Exterior Similar to cruze,looks very stylish from the front view and bit dull from the back.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are good and one airbag with middle end is advantage as swift and amaze is not providing. Interior is spacious compared to swift and amaze.boot space also is quite big. Audio system is good with bluetooth.AC is good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have not measured exact mileage but I feel my car is giving 15 on highways and 12-13 in city conditions with AC.

The only constraint I feel is with pickup.Though the car is sedan..the pick up is same us a small car(similar to santro spark). It can reach 120 definetly but initial pick up needs time. If you are ok with less pick up. Sail is the best car in this segment..I feel less pickup is due to heavy body weight compared to swift and amaze.

Ride Quality & Handling Good outer view for driving,handling is goos.

Final Words If you are ok with less pick up. Sail is OK for you. Otherwise quitebetter than swift and amaze.

Areas of improvement Pickup, rear look, clock.

Exterior SAIL has a great front look. Rear view is much better than most of the cars available in the same segment from other manufacturers. The boot is nicely carved in the body of the car. The first look itself will make you realise how sturdy the car is. Chevy's signature Dual port front grill with the symmetric Chevy sign in the middle will win your heart at the first look!

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious interior. Good leg room and head room. Chevy's signature Dual Cockpit speaks for itself. Chevy has given small spaces everywhere to keep those accessories and handy utilities. Cabin space is better than the cars available in same segment. Plastic used is of good quality.  Many peoples has written that the plastic has a hard feel in their reviews. But I did not find the case. The only problem is the  power window switches, has not been provided with LED lights for easy location in the night. The location is indeed better as the co-driver can also manage driver side window, which is actually beneficial. In other cars it is very difficult to manage them by co-drivers due to their odd locations.  The stereo quality is one of the best. It has amazing bass.  In all Interiors and features beat other leading manufacturers hands down.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear box sways like butter, again comparable to other leading brands. I am owning this car for near about six months and driven the car on highways as well as city. On highways I got mileage around 16 to 18 km/ltr. Engine is silent, a lot of times I forget if its on or not. The pickup is good, though not the best, sometimes feels less power when you suddenly want to overtake.

Ride Quality & Handling It a satisfying drive, and gives good ground clearance. The wheel base is wide, gives ultimate control. Suspension is amazing; I would say the best I have ever seen. The ride quality and comfort is excellent. You would not feel mid-sized potholes on road at all.

Final Words Its the ultimate car. The best a money can buy.

Areas of improvement Remote controller for audio system.

Exterior Excellent Styling, Length More than 4 mtr under lakh, Best in class exteriors

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dash is not appealing, Good features, Good in space, Rear seat Perfectly accomodates 3, Arm rest in the rear seat make it look more classy, Roomy feeling inside, centrally located power window switches.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The power delivery is fairly linear , Max Bhp in the segment of 1.2 l petrol, Also good fuel economy, Gearbox is a little bit Notchy.

Ride Quality & Handling Sweet spot with good ride and decent handling characteristics. Great city ride, Best suspention, Good Gear Ratio, Highway drive feels unsecure at high speed, Little Body Roll in high speed.

Final Words The Sail NB is an affordable and practical sedan as it has good space, decent design and features, drivable and frugal engines. 3 year warrenty, Good to buy lower variants, Check for after sales service in service centers.

Excellent Style, Fuel Economy, Well Insulated Cabin, Great Suspention for City, Low Cost OwnershipNot a Drivers Car, Highway Drive is not Good

I would like to have your attention please about CAR performance. I had purchased L.Beige SAIL car on 08-03-2013 . But I am not satisfied with this car because after one month it was make noise in desk board & also in suspension.

 

Some day's later, I was trying  to start my car, but car not respond. I am trying many times but the car was start for a second & I had tried 6th time it makes blast noise in engine side.

 

Now the position of my car is not working, so I am suffered & disturb with this type of things. Because I had got done only Ist (one) service of this car from AUTOVIKAS SAIL & SERVICE PVT. LTD., Moti Nagar, Delhi  & latest reading of meter is 5383 till today.    

 

But I am very much surprised & doubt with car engine life, It makes so many problem in starting session in only 5 months of purchasing this car. 

 

This type of matter is scratch the name of CHERVOLET company. I think the company MARUTI is much batter than the CHERVOLET in service & also the customer care.

Beautiful looking car, nice specious cabin and boot space,

but no driving pleasure, especially in city, its very tiring.

Very very very bad after sales service, at sakinaka service station.

you have to fight for each and every little thing...

and Still there is no gurantee, that the problem will get solved.

 

Horn button design is ridiculous,  you have to actually search for it every time, and 

the quality is too hard, that its a good excersize to our fingers.

Dash board has started making some irritating noise, and when I had given the car for check

up, instead of dicreasing, it has increased, so I have to go again for a check up.

 

This service station is in such a crowded area,

that you have to spend your time and money on fuel for sure.

 

The rubber mats they have provided are like a paper, they are so thin in quality.

The remote control keep giving problem, and the person comes and opens all the door covers

for several times, which again is a pain.

 

These comments are looking at my car, and I have no idea about others.

Overall, out of 10, I will give 5 that too coz of looks and space.

Good style, decent fuel economy, Good space,poor pick up with AC for 1.2 petrol, interior and few mechanical parts are creating a discomfort,
