Chevrolet Forester [2004-2007]

It looks very SUV-ish. The front is just like the old Ford Endeavour. The boxy exterior is very desirable and 'in'. It has superb space and comfort levels are high. But it misses on a lot of features like a sunroof, automatic transmission, shift-on-the-fly AWD (it's permanent AWD), rear AC vents, rear center armrest, climate control, steering mounted controls, 2+ airbags (it has just 2) which were found on other luxury sedans of that time for the same prices (18-20 lakh) such as Skoda Superb, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. First-class engine. It's a boxer engine and the only car to have it in India. This is mated to an AWD with a 5-speed gearbox: its clutch is heavy. Its fuel economy is 10 km/l which is not bad at all for a petrol AWD SUV of those times, especially compared to the Grand Vitara (4 km/l). This is where the Forester steals the show. It totally rocks in ride quality. It's a great product but is not able to match CR-V's features. But it's still great and I would never exchange it for anything else. Exterior It gives u the perfect blend of dullness and old fashion in a complete package and those lights on the rear just make it look like a wagonr or altofrom the rear and it looks like a truck from the frunt. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) As dull as a gypsey and provide no features the cabin feels cramped unpleasent and nothing is there to bragg about everything is manual in it and no auto and features. To be frank it looks like an auto rickshaw from inside. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It is powered buy a underpowerd boxer producing 120 ps and 178 nm torque the car zoooms 0-100 in 11.9 seconds so there is no gud pikuppp and being a petrol car it has a poor milleage. Ride Quality & Handling ppooor pooor pooor pooor pooor. Final Words it is a disgust an insane mirageee it is just not worth it.   Exterior Nice styling but lacks SUV feel.   Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice, superbly done,spacious, great climate control.   Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance its a beast under hood top speed 160-178.fuel economy?um there is no fuel economy actually there is only fuel consumption. gearbox um... sweet  wow that's why i bought this.   Ride Quality & Handling Quality its good,handling it will throw a sedan's to hell, wow the handling is just fantastic low center of gravity just like a sedan better than most of sedans i've driven.   Final Words Buy a fuel station if u like to buy this vehicle or don't buy it .its a nice car if u have a fat wallet .very capable vehcle, a serious off-roader trust me in this one, i think its a threat to the hummer and range rover,if u own aford endavour or safari  then grab your self on of these its better in every inch in with endavour and safari.   Areas of improvement Every inch of engine and the marketing strategy.  low center of gravity,space,technology.fuel ecnomy
