The car looks stunning and turns heads everytime including mine while driving my cruze when I see another. I wanted an automatic but went for the manual transmission. Amazing curves and design, looking real futuristic and feroseous. Check the cruze in the parking lot and it looks hungry and can eat all d rest of the lousy cars. The interiors are designed awesome. I love the cockpit design and actually feels great. The sunroof is a real treat. Worth all the money u spend. Rear seat leg room is a lil lacking comparitively for the size of the car though.
I stopped test driving cars once I tried the cruze. The engine has a slight turbo lag but once the turbo starts it shoots off. Handling is awesome with the steering not too slack or tight. The clutch feels a lil tight tough when compared to the hondas or hyundais. Fuel economy is abt 9-10 in the city and 14 on the highway for my driving but my wife gets a greater economy, hmm. Gear shift is jus right length and size and has a click but the first gear dosent set it perfectly, sometimes catches and edge and gota redo. Parking sensors are real useful. Ride quality is real good but sometimes feel the noise insulation could have been better but i havent experienced the laura to compare or was I just scrutining too much. Some guest in my car dont realise its a diesel engine, so that says it all. The audio system is amazing and the engine seems to be muted with the system on.
Improvement- First gear shift, the aircon temp setting knob need to be shortened or shifted a little in cos my knee keeps rubbing it. The lights need a more futuristic interior and a rear ac vent would be great.
Fianal berdict - Cruze puts all the other cars in its segment to a shame in every aspect. Go for it guys no second thoughts cos it true that a CRUZE IS A CAR U WANT RATHER THAN U NEED..CHEERS!

Exterior Unmatched MACHO machine in this price band. Only lack turn indicator in the ORVMs. when I first look at the car I simply fall in love of it. Head lamp is not so powerfull, it need a lot of concentration when cruising at high speed during night driving. A HID head lap is required for this type of high powered car. But I love its look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior HUMMMMMMMMM. Missing alot of good feeling, poor plastics, roof edges at rear window feel rough. Roof fab get dirty very fast. Feature wise it is rich, good climate control, responsive and wise auto mode. Sun/moon roof is at par with high end cars, steering controls are very use ful. Back space are good for even tall man, only driver always brushed his left knee with the dashboard console.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox OHHHHH amasing power, it unlashed only you get beyond 1800/2000 rpm, :( below this rpm it is pathetic to drive. In city driveing it is better to drive in low gear other wise you feel very heavy to move this car.Fuel economy it is around 13 Kmpl in over all count :) good for this type of 150 BHP engine. Gear knob feel the vibration from engine, it prove that it do not use drive-by-wire technology :(. One most important thing that I observed, the oil burner emits lots of black smoke at low rpm/on start rolling, I have discussed it with service enginewers, they failed to satisfy me. I would like to discuss the issue with other CRUZE owner. It has discussed about the NVH as low butin my opinion even at all the windoows are rolled up you still feel the diesel engine under the hood, GM should have done a little better.
Ride Quality & Handling Good Hndling at all speed(touched only 140Kmph only), brakes are very good till this speed. But the bad strory is about the very heavy steering wheel, feels like car without power assist :( :( :(, this makes to feel poor response at city driving condition. Suspension is good, but this car do better with Michielon or similler softer grade tyres.
Final Words Best car in this price tags, no comparison.
Areas of improvement Interior need to improve to reach good feel factor, noise and damping should be re-engineered.
Good Power, good style, best package at best pricePoor plastics, interior need to improve a lot

Exterior First imprssion is the last impression.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its good but not the best in the category...more thigh support requires, lumber support with the massager for driver's seat for long drive fatiques.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The BHP and the Torque is best in this category..Fuel economy is not that good (10 km/l city& 12 km/l Highway) but when buying a car for passion who thinks about fuel economy..A/T rocks and gives the roller coater feeling when you take the initial pick up and Vrrooommmm.
Ride Quality & Handling So far so good...ven't tried to drive rough...its new...!!!
Final Words I luv this car from the day I'd taken the test drive and finalized my decision to buy the Automatic Transmission version as it was known to me that I am goning to use it for my daily commuting and dese days communiting in Delhi's traffic is bad so my decision for the A/T rocks.
Areas of improvement More comfortable seats required at rear.
