Exterior: This car is having awsome looks, very stylish, I personally liked Velvet REd & bought the same. Very Muscular look but with elegance, no unecessary curves, perfectly designed.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): This car has all the features you can ask for in this segment. Features are amazing, with Cruz control, awaome interior feels like you are sitting in a cockpit. I have read that few people said that they find operating its music system little confusing but believe me its a matter of spending couple of mins to understand the features & you will find that it is not so difficult. Push button start, dashboard lights are simply cool & can adjuct to your need accordingly.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: I have drove some 500 KM & it gave me 16.5 KM\L as shown by the car itself which I assume may not be the accurate but if I take it on a lower side it is not below 15 KM\L which is awsome for 2.0 CC & 150 BHP engine. tis car flyies once RPM moves above 1.5, you feel the power when you accelarate.
Update: Its been almost 11 months now that I own this car & drove around 15,500 KMs. Its giving me 14.5 KM\L as an average, which is quite phenominal, with such a powerful engine.
Ride Quality & Handling: Again nothing compromised on Ride & Handling, very steady
Final Words: In the last I stronglly recommend this car, though we all have some apprehension in purchasing GM motor cars but guys I have taken some calculated risk & bought it, believe me I have even faced challange in the after sales service from Honda & Skoda as well, so it a matter of how you take care of your car & GM is one of the biggest car menufacturers in the world its just that initially they have done some mistakes by introducing not so good car for Indian roads. I hope Cruz will change there image.
I have not faced any challanges as of now from this car or GM motors.
Areas of improvement: Gear box, though gear shifting is not a problem, but can be improved as I am comparing with Honda car which are more smooth when it come to gear shift. It might becoz of diseal engine, I am not expert in this.
Overall simply Awsome car....!!! I loved it 😄

After testing various cars in the segment( Laura, Jetta, Civic and Corolla), I chose the Cruze Automatic. I love myself for the decision I took in choosing it. The looks: agressive, full of attitude and great road presence. The awesome engine under the hood roars as if its ready to attack. In automatic version, I felt that the turbo-lag is negligiable and the speedometer shoots up to high speeds, just like that. The interiors complement the agressive exterior styling. Cool lighting and well placed controls. The music system is pretty decent but lacks the usb port. The bin, which also acts as an armrest though, produces a little squeak sound when the car gets into a pothole, don't know why but it's irritting. The cruise control is just great and with the automatic transmission, the driving is a pleasure. The fan knob is not placed correctly. While driving, my knee brushes up with it and the fan turns on. Though I am used to it now and I take care of it but for new consumers, it might be a little problem.
The ride quality is smooth and the suspension is simply great, All disc brakes works very fine and sudden braking on Delhi roads is not a problem now.
In the end, if anyone wants to buy a sedan within 16lakh rupees(CRUZE LTZ AT- 15.80lakh On-Road Delhi), Chevy Cruze is just for you. Fully loaded, muscular, great engine and drive quality.
Great Features, smooth engine, amazing ride quality...A little squeak sound from the plastics

Please don’t buy Chevrolet company car’s, Their cars are stuffed with cheap spare and dump cheap parts in India and cheat people and even there service provider take advantage of cheap spare and looting in all angle possible.
Please read my review before you decide to buy.
I, SHASHI KUMAR. D, owner of an Chevrolet Cruze (LT model) with Vehicle no. KAO5-XX-XXXX, I bought this car from Kropex India Limited dealer at Bangalore India,
As on 09/04/2015, miles on my car is 36440 KM, From past few months I'm facing problem with the clutch pedal, hardness while pressing clutch pedal during gear change, so I left my car for the repair of the same along with my periodic service (37500 KM Service) and front glass replacement on 09/04/2015 as usual at Kropex India Limited service center, Bangalore, India, I told the concerned service person about the problem and he told he will call next day as per that he called me on 11/04/2015, told me that the car's clutch assembly has worn out and needs to be replaced along with flying wheel.
Already my car clutch assembly was replaced at 25050 KM mile last 13/09/2013 at the same service center by paying around Rs. 48000, due to some mechanical problem and was not able to change gear and was told by the service person that the entire clutch assembly worn out at that time.
Again now for the second time at 36440 KM mile the service person have told to replace the clutch with flying wheel. what logic it makes them to replace the clutch with flying wheel after driving just 11500 KM for merely for hardness of clutch pedal during driving and nothing else, when asked over phone the reason, the service person have no answer for the same and he told that its out of warranty, who asked them to replace against warranty?
If that is the thing, the customer like me has to replace clutch with flying wheel for every 10,000 KM, Is there any logic in it?
If there is really a problem in clutch, they may have replaced with defective one last time, how do we know they have replaced with right one OR the company spare is of cheap quality and cheating customer like us?
For no valid reason, why should I bear the cost again for second time for just 11500 KM driven by me.
I have other cars such as Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra XUV 500, Mahindra Scorpio and none of them have given me this type of problem till date.
The Kropex India ltd Customer relationship manager forced me to approve to go ahead with paid replacement of clutch assembly, I have strictly rejected to go ahead and also informed her till it is resolved I won’t take back my vehicle from Service center, she coolly replied that they will pack the car and deliver to my address and I resisted her words and she told they will charge parking fee daily till delivered. By this way they are threatening me.
I even complained this to GM customer care @ gmi.cac@gm.com, but no response from them regarding this.
I'm really disappointment with this kind of service by their company service center and had a bad experience with the GM Company and thier service provider KROPEX INDIA LIMITED, BANGALORE.
We must alert prospective car buyers to stay away from GM company cars and service providers. I am already into alerting all my friends, relatives, clients including my own family members.

The first time I saw the Cruze manual I thought what an awesome muscular looking car, let’s see if it drives well. The next day when I test-drove it I liked it but found that the clutch is too hard and if dis-engaged quickly by mistake, the car lurches forward, no way I’m buying this car. Then a friend insisted I try the Automatic. I always wanted Diesel Automatic, so I thought why not. The car feels almost royal with the Auto Box, smoothly accelerating with gear shifts so smooth that you have to concentrate to feel them. The pick up can be extremely slow and smooth or tyre spinningly brutal, depends on your mood and the road ahead. What amazed me is that the Automatic actually gives this car a Jekyll and Hyde kind of personality. It can be driven peacefully like an old man would drive and at the same time can also be driven like a toyboy racer with brutally fast pickup if driven in anger. The turbo lag in the manual is gone. It changes gears according to the pressure on the pedal. The diesel has a huge amount of torque as it is the same engine as the captiva. I somehow feel that SUV engines are always more sturdy, so that’s a good thing. The best part of this car is that it is comfortable in Mumbai traffic but it is almost like a Bmw on the freeway (and probably safer than a 3 series anyway). The brakes too have ABS and have a nice feel and bite to them. The interiors are very stylish, just look at the dashboard and you will know, its close to the Accord. There are some people who say that it looks cheap because they are used to the FAKE wood (which to me looks ultra cheap). I am infact glad that there is no wood at all, if you want wood go buy furniture. The rear space is slightly cramped (for 6 footers only) as the roofline is low, but the seating is far better than the old Skoda Octavia atleast. The car is good for people who mostly drive alone or with 1-2 people and with young families. I found it sportier than a laura. The mileage I got on the highway was 14.5 kmpl and city with traffic was 9.5 kmpl, both figures with A.C. on full time. The only thing I changed was the tyres to another make as I thought that the JK tyres would become hard later on. Spent 10k on that. The dealership experience was not bad, but some refresher training can be given to the sales department and a follow up enquiry directly/ independently from the company would give it a good and direct insight to customer preferences and suggestions. This is my first Diesel and my first Automatic. In the end Drive it to believe it, but drive the Automatic preferably, it’s far better and less stressful. Bought this car not because I had to but because I wanted to.

Exterior Looks are gr8.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good as self driven vehicle , back seats are cramped.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Drive is good, AT version has turbo lag. you can feel its diesel engine, and yes the name diesel rocket is agreed, after the initial turbo lag car really zooms.
Ride Quality & Handling It is great but the company is totally non responsive and after sale service is really pathetic and the 5 * safety feautures are crap on accident air bags don't open and the dealer says the command was given but could not open and yet they have to be replaced, quite surprising they are fleecing customer for the safety feauture which failed and also risking life of their customer.
Final Words Don't go on company's word and buy only if you are sure that you will never meet with accident and have patience to deal with their poor after sale service.

Exterior Too good to resist. Heavy reinforced metal and fine body curves. Good aerodynamics. Great front appearence.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is definitely less that civic. But anyone who is interested in "driver's car" should go for it. One who wants "passanger's car" should stay away from it. Cockpit style front is amazing. Rer leg room is less as compared to competitors. Dashboard looks great but feels notchy because of hard plastics. But anyway i like it.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Those who are migrating from petrol car. Beware of the tourbo lag. Only after 1700 rpm the beast starts showing its action. Then nothing can stop it. On highways this car is a king. But can be cumbersome for bumper to bumper driving. Great fuel economy. I get 14 kmpl at average 110 km/hr speed. Great for such a big car. The torque is amazing and definitely high as compared to civic (i own a civic also) and this car can leave behind all cars on road. Cruze control adds to the comfort but needs some learning curve. Breaking is efficient and consistent.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent control over the car breaking. Stearing is small and has sporty look and hence easy to navigate. The controls are easy to learn and implement. The car is responsive to accelerator after 1700 rpm and power generated is much more than a comparable petrol car. Noise reduction is excellent. Suspentions are fit to sustain indian roads but definitely this is not the perfect car for off road drive.
Final Words Great Future in world market, very difficult to resist.

Exterior:If you sit in a car like this you would ussually see some kids gawking at you, they dont gawk at you but they gawk at your car.of course they would, when your car has that big grille & those stylish headlamps.that sexy line that starts at the top of the headlight & goes way upto the tail light.the car is broad shouldered & very muscular.the best part in the whole exterior is the roofline which raises up at the windshield & lowers as it heads towards the boot. The rear has a simple taillight & a chrome strip which gives a Dzire like appeal.overrall, very stylish car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort):like the exterior, the interiors too are very stylish, the best part is the dash,it has 2 strips running from the top of the dash & they come close as the dash ends.it has those buttons in the middle of the 2 lines when they come close & above that is a display. The steering wheel is also very futuristic & stylish. It comes with so many features like sunroof, cruise control, push button start which will give the laura a run for its money.Though the space is about average,i wont say its cramped but it falls short on the space of the laura though it doesnt fail to pamper you.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:the engine is very good, though it has a bit of turbo lag which makes it hard to drive in packed traffick,it wont budge under 2000rpm.youl have to engage the clutch , hit the throttle, hit the brakes & then engage the clutch & downshift & nail the throttle again. The figures arnet bad, infact the performance maybe the best in class.0-100 kmph in 9.1 seconds & a top speed of 207 kmph is the best in class.the fuel economy is also good, showing a city figure of 11 kmpl.i have tested it in my cousins ltz.
Ride Quality & Handling:you see the styling & performance & say that the ride quality may not be good, whoever says that is wrong.it has an exellent ride & eats up potholes very eassily.unlike the optra its ride is very plush.its handling though is just about average, it sometimes understeers making it hard todrive in small roads.
Final Words: the cruze indeed is a great value, it has features, comfort , an exellent ride ,performance, has fair mileage & great styling so nothing stops it from succeding. gm had to make a car like this.
