The car's exterior appeals to people with unique taste for class and time-enduring looks.
Beige interiors cater to the eyes in addition to the tangible luxury offered by the car. Storage facilities are fair enough to accommodate all normal travel requirements. Space is commendable - accommodates 5 adults easily (irrespective of size). The car does complete justice to its occupants when it comes to comfort.
The U-VA's 1.2 Lt. engine's roar and power is well experienced, more during free and smooth highway-rides than during local rides. Fuel economy - especially for within-city rides is very low compared to the car's competitors in its class. Gear-shifting is difficult at times and embarrasses the driver while negotiating roads packed with heavy traffic. But it does not count as a major issue.
The ride quality and maneuverability of the car is good.
As I do not use the car for more than 20 Kms per day on an average my concerns for mileage is limited. All that I looked for in my new car was that it should be within 5 Lacs, and that it should be an easy to clean and maintain hatchback, and that it should easily accommodate 5 adults, and last but not the least, that it should have classy looks that would endure for at least the next 10 years. GM Chevrolet Aveo U-VA's LS version perfectly fitted into my expectations, and here I'm a satisfied owner of the same.
If GM would improve the mileage and engine power of the car I'm sure it would interest a broader spectrum of car buyers.
