What to say about exterior???? I think chevy provides the best quality. UVA's structure is very strong which provides maximum safety to the passengers. U get beige interiors, which provides luxury to the car.... As the tagline says "Incridibly spacious" there's no need to talk about space inside..... It the most spacious car in its segment.... It feels as if ur sitting in a sedan. The car is very comfortable... U won't feel tired even if u drive it continuously for 10 hrs..... The engine is very powerfull... U can hardly notice its sound even at a great speed of 100 km ph. It gives a mileage of 12-15 with AC in City and 17-19 with AC on highway... gear shift is congession free....very smooth... Its handling is very easy.. breakes are very powerfull... bole to makkhan jaisi chalti hai ye car!!!!! UVA is much much much better than swift and i20... The AC is very powerfull.... the service backup is very good in fact it is better than Maruti..... Specially at SUPER CARS LIMITED BHOPAL.... the only cons with this car is performance with Ac on highway... U feel quite under powered on highway with AC... But that is not a big issue.. So, I think you should go for it..... I own UVA as well as alto... CHEVY'S CARS ARE DAMN BETTER THAN MARUTI'S... UVA is a true value for money.... Go for it.... nahi lenge to pachtaayenge :-)

Exterior Car outside looks are very good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) One of the most common comments received are that U-VA is very spacious compared to all hatchbacks in this price region. Three people can sit comfortably (shoulder to shoulder) in back seat. Boot space is also good and better than most hatchbacks. Interior is very good and fabric design to door interior looks elegant.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Vehicle acceleration is low at lower speeds but as soon as 50Kmph is achieved pick up is very good. Relatively low acceleration at low speeds is sometimes annoying especially during overtaking. U-VA gear box is smoothest. I get fuel mileage of 13.5Kmpl with A.C on in city ride.
Ride Quality & Handling Simply Superb.
Final Words Best car to buy in this price region.
Areas of improvement I bought U-VA in Mar 2009 and I had no complaints till this date. One of the issues I en-countered is that company fitted car tyres (good year make) wore out after driving just 20,000kms. As tyres are worn out, rear seat passengers used to experience strange sound from car back during ride at high speeds (>65Kmph). It took me sometime to understand the problem and I changed types to MRF, now I feel car as good as new one!.
Excellent stability at high speeds, smooth rideSome of the company fitted accessories are of poor qualityExterior/Styles

I love to ride this car. I was pretty disappointed with the dealer earlier for not delivering the car in time. Finally delivered late by 10 days. Initially i took my entire family for a ride, 6 elders and 3 kids in Chevy UVA, i was at surprise that it could easily climb the steep hills without any problem with such a load. My entire family is happy with the car and its performance. To my calculations, i am getting around 17Kms/Ltr.

I own Aveo U-VA 1.2 LT for last one year. I am quite happy with the performance of my car. Probably a best car in this class. Engine is noise free. Ride is very comfortable. No bumpy ride for rear seat passengers. I am getting 13-14 in city with AC and 17-19 on highway. I have driven 15K in one year with 3 long trips, abosutly no problems.
After sales service is good, Little bit more professionalisam will bring in better perspective.
Driver seat height adjustment is necessary, First 2-3 months gear shift was bit knotchy, but after first service it is fine. Price is little higher, but gets compensated with low maintainace and fuel efficiency.
Hope it will help new buyers

I bought the Chevy U-VA 10 days ago and my experience so far is excellent. I had an exteem earlier which was maintained very well, but I never enjoyed driving it. But this one is moves like a butterfly... virtually noiseless!
I customized it to beige interiors and paid a good bit for it.. but its worth every penny. The resulting black car with butterscotch interiors is simply outstanding. I do have a bit of a trouble with my seat belt clamps and one of the rear doors, but it can be fixed, I presume.
Except for the pick up which has a clear lag, everything is fabulous in the U-VA. I would say, its a product of a company which has enormous trust in its capability - I mean the 3 year guarantee of maximum maintainence that one one would incur on the vehicle. Why can't any other manufacturer offer the same!
I would strongly recommend this car in its category since is complete value for money compared to the Swift or even a Getz. Though, Getz is far superior when it comes to the pick-up.. but thats it...!
My dealer, so far has been good, hope he provides the same level of service in the future to come.
Fuel Economy is excellent at around 16-18 per litre.Pick is a bit of an issueExterior/Styles

Chevrolet UVA is car built with style and space in mind.
The looks are great and you have ample space inside.
The siting comfort is better than most of the cars and certanly better than all the cars in this price range. The car looks expensive and many of my friends could not beleive it costed me only Rs.4.75 Lacs on road. In fact some of my vriends who hv bought cars recentky did not tery UVA , thinking that it would be expensive !
We bought the car 15 days ago and Ihv tried within city as well as on the highways.
I have done about 1000 KM and me and my family memebers are very much satisfied with it. Three members can be conveniently be seated in the rear and in the front it is luxurty for two. You do not feel the bumps on the road, due to good suspension system.
When you drive, you feel you are driving a big car. One of my friends who saw my car said it looks like a mini Innova !
I find the gear shift a little tough but may be due to newness.
I am happy that I chose UVA !

I purchased a UVA-LT model recently in
1) I am 62 years of age& am finding it increasingly difficult to drive larger cars in
2) My use is restricted to about 20 Kms/day in the city on an average with occasional long distance drives. Hence decided on petrol.
3) Don’t need too much power- comfort , economy & safety are higher priorities. The “premium” hatches offer more space, so did not look at the smaller hatches.
4) Will be retiring soon- fuel consumption & cost of owning & maintaining the car were crucial factors.
5) Cost of the car- best value for money.
I narrowed down the choice to Ritz , Fabia, Punto and finally the UVA. I was quite inclined towards the Fabia at first because of the excellent build quality & classy interiors. The test drive was good but what finally put me off was the price-just could not afford the extra lakh! The Punto 1.2 l petrol is available only in the basic version and so tried out the 1.4 l .Enjoyed the test drive, but the interiors in my opinion could have been better. Also, there was an element of doubt w.r.t the fuel efficiency plus my experience with the service of Tata dealers was not very pleasant. I did like the feel of the Ritz-good driving position, smooth engine & transmission . I did not care too much for the looks but it does not matter when you are inside! I thought the final choice would be between the Ritz or the Punto and then thought I would check out the UVA . I was in for a very pleasant surprise starting from the response of the sales staff. The car matched my requirements and though not zippy, gave me a good confident feel the moment I got behind the steering. The ride quality is fantastic and you can barely hear the engine. It is still too early to comment on the fuel efficiency & the performance, but since I do not use the A.C much, I am confident of getting 12~13 Kms/ltr.Added to this is the 3 year cashless maintenance offer -coupled with the 3 year warranty, this car is absolute value for money. I hope the performance over the next few months justifies my choice.
