After going Extensive search,like valve for mony,comfort,impression,fuel economy,I found this the best car than city zx 1.5,verna for VM,FE,CM,Style n if u compare with Verna petrol XXi only two feture less rear center arm, the Diffrence of vertical H of Honda n Inclind H of hyundai it's hype for Ho.. and Very costly Hy.. The real technical as well as stylish ...person should go only for 1.6 LT the best car in it's sesment...or hv test drive for all n chekout with ... I m confident for...hving u same opineon...Very good fuel econmomy,THE best styling,VG legrooms After going through extensive search city,vernaPickup less for 1000rpm, need of Inbuilt screen,n rear center arm rest

i have this chevy in platinum metallic and it looks pretty stylish.I wanted a car which would look good,should have plush looking and roomy interiors,a comfortable car with a good fuel economy and i think i got the perfect car.The other cars around are not as stylish as the chevy.The honda city is way to overpriced and it is the most unpretty car.The verna is also not as stylish and comfortable and even the sx4 looks very bulky.The  fiesta is a good car but it offers you less for your money and the interiors could have been better.The aveo is immensely spacious and the boot-mind you ,you are out for a week this car has enough space for your luggage.I really loved the stereo on this car it comes from the new set of GM stereos and sounds extremely good and i don't think i could have found any other car even in the upper segmant having such a superb 6 speaker sound system.The driving position of the car is very good and the theater styled rear seats are really comfortable.You enter the car and you automatically feel cozy and comfortable.The car has some minor nagative points.The engine is a bit sluggish and noisy and the ride can be harsh at times.Otherwise the car is perfect.It has the brand image-chevrolet-the most desired car brand in the world and the car is stylish enough to make a supermodel turn green.It is slightly under-rated in the auto industry.But it is truly the car which is above the c segmant and it is unfair to compare it with the much hyped honda and the sx4.So anbody wants advice i say go there and grab the chevy -it is a great car gives you more than enough for your money.No wonder it is ranked no. 1 in the J.D Power Study because it deserves it!

Hi all,

i am joining you all as a prod owner of Chevvy Aveo. This is my first car as i ve just graduated and my first big expense. i was to buy a new car only and was stuck on Accent.

Just by chance one day i was a bit free and right next to my office was this chevvy showroom, i went there just to have a look, and not a serious customer. but the moment i opened the door of Aveo and had a look at it, i made up my mind. UVA even Optra and captiva looked pale in comparison to the looks of Aveo.

I cant even think about accent since i ve seen this damsel. thereafter i asked the guys in showroom, that i ll get bak to them in a day (next day bieng sunday) as i cudnt buy th car bieng saturday and some superstitions.

by the time i cud have got back to them, i got an offer for 2007 model 1.4, the speedo dial is a bit dated in that but i thought i got a good deal as the car was very clean and looking like new, even though it was not in dispay, it was bieng used by the owner. the car had alloy wheels, a fairly good blaupunkt audio system and was fairly priced at 4,25,000

i haggled and finally got it for 3,85,000 but have to get it insured which ll cost another 15k and brokerage of 12 k and transfer of papers and all for 7-8 k. so finally the car is costing me 4,20,00 mar 2007 model. (writing review in feb 2009).

so few questions :

1. Did i make a good deal ?

2. is the resale value of this car very low, can i sell it off after an year with max 75000 depreciation.

3. is the deficiency in engine performane and gearshift really noticeable, ( i dint experience ). though i was driving a santro before this so it obviously is a superior car.

4. how far is CNG as a fuel succesful in this car ( This bieng a motive of buying a used machiene so that i dont feel guilty of losing warranty and all, as i ll have to run it on CNG someday as i have a daily running of 200km)

5. what all precautions do i take before making the final payment, the car is registerd in Haryana and i need it to be transfered to UP bieng my residence.

 

P.S.  I have been searching and researching a lot about this car for several hours each day, and found out that this is a dark horse and an example of poorly marketted good product.

 

 

Looks, interior and exteriors as well. a bit exclusive car on roadheard about bad mileage and notchy gearshift
