- 6 years ago | Vinit JainBMW comes with pirelli tyre which can burst any time on road.Spare tyre can run for 100 kms. Customer are left stranded on road.Car has to be towed to nearest service location on crane ones the Tyre fail.There service centers are 300-600 kms apart .If tyre fails have you ever heard the car being towed 600 kms to nearest center leaving you stranded instead of providing replacement tyre even in warranty.Ones they sell cars they will care a damn for your issues and problems.BMW will never call you and never take feedback from you.It is one of the most hostile and unfriendly company.The jack which comes with spare tyre(small tyre which can run for 80 kms at speed of 60) is too cumbersome to operate.WHY IS BMW not giving car with FULL TYRE. We have tried asking this question to BMW and there reply is no we sell car with spare tyre which can run 80 kms and this is a additional facility we are providing.If you want to buy full tyre u have to spend Rs 70000/- extra IS IT FAIR TO PICKUP COMPLETE CAR ON CRANE IF TYRE FAILS .WHY DO THEY NOT PROVIDE SPARE TYRE ON SITE EVEN UNDER WARRANTY.After warrnaty is over we will have to buy expensive insurace cover on tyre also as if tyre fails the complete car has to be sent to nearest service centre which can Rs 40000 to 50000 BMW is known for poor tyres yet they are doing nothing to improve it.THEY ARE LEAST CONCERNED ABOUT CUSTOMER ISSUE.THEY WILL NEVER CALL YOU,NEVER TAKE YOUR FEEDBACK .FOR THEM GIVING A DONNET TYRE(WHICH CAN RUN 80 KMS at speed of 60 kms/hr) completes there responsibilityRating parameters(out of 5)3

Exterior Looks are really good. It looks completely like other BMW cars and front mesh and grill with the lamps look real good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Beige interior looked great with silver lining and leather seats.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox BMW tagline is sheer driving pleasure. So it is the best of the best when it comes to handling. If you drive in Sport mode your car just jumps whenever you want to take it. Economy mode in city I got 17+ and in highway got a decent 21. Great fuel economy.
Ride Quality & Handling As again Its BMW so ride quality is great. Suspensions are great. Steering feels super light.
No clutch and paddle shift gears. You can also choose to have auto mode so no gears too. Great ride.
Final Words Go for It. Go for the sline it has everything.
Areas of improvement A bit pricier. ESS charges and Handling and Logistics can be removed to have lesser price.

BMW is a big brand my favorite car one of the prestige and super cute and sweet dreams Car very good looking bmw is a my favorite to variants eye catching brand and model is good and interior design very very good exterior very royal looking and feeling well. It's very much car. My very special.

Exterior Good all round proportion. Sharp head lamp and tail light designs.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good music system. Control knobs are perfectly placed. The rear seats are far more comfortable with good leg and head room. The pockets provided behind front seats are too small, can hold only a news paper.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox In eco mode, the engine is bit sluggish and the comfort mode is ideal for both city and highway drive.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride quality, minimal body roll. Very precise steering feed back. wind noise is slightly audible over 100 kmph. The company fitted Bridgestone tyres give enormous grip and confidence in wet road as well as at higher speeds.
Final Words An ideal cross over.The engine delivers its power smoothly and enthusiastically, a characteristic you'll appreciate with a fully loaded X1. In typical driving, this BMW delivers above-average refinement.
Areas of improvement A REAR view camera would have of great help. Interior plastics.

Initially I liked the driving experience but my maintenance and service experience is really bad I had driven this car about 50 K KM and faced frequent issues with the car and the service is terrible every time the car goes to the service center will take minimum a week and they wouldn't provide you any stand by car or any support over and above the hefty charges. Now the latest is the transmission failure and the estimated repair time is minimum 10 day. This is not worth it after spending somuch money for a luxury car. Good looking car. Has a Solid muscular stance. Looks like a smaller version of an X5
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Fairly good as to expected of a car like this. Small front seats. No reverse camera in any of the models is a let down. Steering wheel obstructs a clear view of the instrument cluster In ant position.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine is smooth and powerful with good acceleration.But a clear turbo lag is felt while sudden acceleration.Fuel economy is fair. Gearbox tends to shift too often especially in eco and comfort mode may be because it's an eight speed. A feel of engine stall sometimes while downshifting . Feels great in sport mode. Paddle shift works great but needs getting used to.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality and handling are good but suspension seems to bottom out when hits small pot holes. Road noise very prominent inside in rough roads.
Final Words
An overall great car. Can be priced a bit lower.
Areas of improvement
Provision of reverse camera In some models. Better front seats . Better road noise damping.Engine tuned to reduce turbo lag.

I have the sdrive x line 20d. Pros 1) punchy 2.0 ltr diesel engine 2)very spacious for a compact luxury suv 3) perfect drive for both city commute as well as highway Cons 1) gear box is a torque converter and not the zf that we are used to from BMW. It is tuned nicely though 2) interior plastics at a lot of places dont feel premium 3) since it is a front wheel drive it is not as sporty as the previous generation x1 Over all very satisfied with the carRating parameters(out of 5)5

The tyres simply go flat as soon as you are on the highway. No matter how good your roads are the tyrea will not last more than 400 kms they have to get punctured. It is really humiliating when such a luxury car is stranded on the roadside. So people do remember its neither an off-roader neither a long drive car with Perrili Tyers.
