Now in its second generation and already considered a design classic by many, the TT used to suffer from its image of being a bit of a hairdresser's car. This inspite of the fact that a certain instability problem at speeds in the first gen car had resulted in the death of many of its young customers especially in europe where the car gained a dubious reputation of being a widow maker!
This was immediatetly rectified and the oversteer problem was looked into by making the car more front biased which made it safer at high speeds without removing the fun factor thereby making it a car anyone can drive comfortably and fast.
Although trends come and go this is the kind of car you can buy and even drive for as long as you have it without worrying about the newer models being more hep or high tech because like the jaguar e-type,mercedes 300sl and other such cars of yore audi has created a design classic and even after the production run of the tt is over, you can be sure that there will be a market for it and it may become a future classic.
The performance would be nothing short of mind blowing although you should get accustomed to the 4wd system and cornering in such a car at track days before pushing it at the nearest back road or the hills! With the new v6 engine the slight dearth in performance has also been eradicated and most drivers would not complain as it can now be compared with the boxster in terms of performance!
The bottom line for this car is don't look at the 110% customs levied on imported cars when you are buying this beauty because it would leave you with incredible experiences and also be a good investment!

Exterior Audi in this car has created a classic. in its second generation now the bold clean lines and proportions of this car make it a future classic. The convertible looks even better than the coupe.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior is beautiful, the stereo is intuitive and accessible. There is more space than u would expect from 2 seater sports car. The seats are great, well bolstered to keep you in place in the hard corners one taken when in this drivers seat.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 3.2l v6 is adequate though u wish it had a bit more near the red line... fuel economy isnt great but thats not why you buy this car. The dual clutch gear box is unmatched and shifts are smooth and lightning quick.
Ride Quality & Handling Usually, losing the roof effects the stiffness of a car's chassis, so the ride and handling suffers, or adds extra weight, but not so with the TT. Most of the bodywork is made from aluminium, making it light yet strong. This low weight gives the TT amazing agility and, males it very fast in a straight line and grippy through the bends. The ride is firm, but not excessively so. Despite the performance, the TT is easy to drive and refined at low speeds. Wind buffeting isn't really a problem with the roof down.
Final Words Buy it... you wont regret it!
