Q5-A good car + a waste of money

 

Exterior Quirky.The XC60 and M-Class look more nice.The badge is sporty and posh.Even the boxy Freelander2 can be more good looking.The Bigger Q7 is macho and even a Scorpio or Fortuner look stylish!Audi has great design,mostly for the A4,which I have in silver but the Q5 looks quirky.But the Garnet Red colour looks smart.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very sporty. Must also get flouresent yellow shades with black and  cocoa brown with beige. Anyway,it is nice and plush.Features list is not bad, but no (Panaromic) Sunroof? Even the i20 has a sunroof.But the Q5 has it as an option, not that bad.The front seats are comfortable. The rear seats are also comfy but the middle lacks comfort,thanks to the high center tunnel like a Vento.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Wind blowing.IT is more powerful than the XC60 and underpowered Freelander2.Only 3.99 kpl by my Q5 now.That is not good.Brilliant typical Audi automatic gearbox.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride? It is good.The Q5 can go for travelling off-road.Handling is not nice nor bad.

 

Final Words Bought my Garnet Red Q5 3.0 TDI from Audi Gurgaon dealership on 19th May.It has a temp no.(HR 99 HX TEMP 7901).I like the car,but it has quirky looks,a cramped middle of rear seat and comes at a price.Audi must come out with an upgraded Q5 with a front end by the Audi RS3 and rear end by an Audi A4.I will also get an XC60 later.

 

Areas of improvement Looks need a lot of improvement,the middle in rear seat and the expensive price Tag. These will make the Q5 the choice what the doctor ordered.
