Experienced very poor after sales service. Seems like
I have purchased new Skoda rapid car from JMD skoda , Thane on 10-Sep-2015. Oct second week on wards it started giving me trouble. My car has been visited 8-9 times and still having some issues.
Here is the brief history of car issues and i had to visit JMD Bhandup Skoda workshop.
1st visit to Service center:
Just 4-5 days after purchasing the car on 10-Sep-2015, i had to visit JMD workshop, Bhandup for door noise issue.
Second Visit to Service center
In month of Nov, I complaint about car is making some wired noise in front while driving on bad and rough road. I drove my car to your JMD service center, Bhandup. As per analysis done by Skoda team , Car steering rack had to be replace and some engine mount setting needs to be corrected. My car had been parked for around 4 days and JMD service center team replaced the steering rack ( around 5500 km) and did some changes in mount settings and delivered the car at my place. After driving for few KM, I immediately called Mr Shamit ( Skoda service center) and complaint about car is having steering tilted towards right side and not centrally aligned.
Third Visit to Service center:
After my discussion with Mr Vikram (Skoda After sales head) , I re-sent my car to JMD Bhandup service center. Mr Naval (Skoda workshop manager) took the test drive and accepted car steering is not centrally aligned and the original issues also persists. my car had been parked for 5 days at service center. After 5 days i got my car back but the first noise issue still persisted and same i have write in remark.
Fourth visit to Service center:
Between Third and Fourth visit, I have been continuously following with Mr Vikram and Mr Shamit about new issues started in my car. After continuous discussion with them, i re-sent my car again with new steering issue. Car Steering wheel, clutch, break paddel started vibrating at certain RPM and some random noise were coming from inside car dashboard. Mt Rajkumar and Nishank from Skoda took test drive and accepted it as an issue. My car has been parked in work shop for two days and returned back. looking at history and poor service record in past, At the time taking delivery i mentioned in feedback sheet to provide my comments once i drive car for some time. On the same day I called Mr Shamit and visited on the same and explained the new issue occurred during last visit.
After that i ahve visited Bhandup worke shop 4-5 times but below issues are still there and Skoda service center team is not keen to resolve the issues.
1) Vibration in car steering and gives feeling of some kind of friction
2) Feeling similar friction at floor of the car and at break and clutch paddle.
3) Car started making weird noise while going on rough roads.
4) Horrible smell is coming from AC vent
5) lack of pickup and very bad engine noise
