MINI Cooper S [2014-2015]

BMW will launch the modern 3-door version and the evolved 5-door variant tomorrow at an event in Mumbai. Both the cars were expected to be introduced for the Indian market by the end of this year and finally they will go on sale tomorrow.

We have almost come to the end of this year and it seems like BMW saved their best for the last. The company will launch the Mini 3-door and 5-door models on November 19 in India.

BMW recently launched the third generation Mini in its three-door hardtop guise. Rumours were afloat that Mini was also working on many different models, one of which was a five-door variant. Internally called F55, the car is the company’s first five-door hatch. The car has now been spotted undergoing trials and though it seems production ready, it will be only be launched by the end of the year or early 2015.

Mini will be launching its first-ever five-door variant of the Cooper later this year. Ahead of its launch it has been spied sans any camouflage. The five-door variant will be slotted between the Cooper S three-door and the Countryman.

The next generation Mini hatchback which is due to be launched today in London at 21:00 GMT (03:30 am IST) has been unofficially previewed along with an official video of the interiors. We have already seen the new hatchback thanks to a host of spy shots that emerged in July. The interior video does not reveal much and is likely to be have been shot in this manner to build up interest in the hatchback ahead of the unveiling.
