Slow start for Honda as sales dip 11 per cent in January

Total sales of Honda Cars India stood at 17,535 units as against 19,700 units sold in January 2015. This is a huge dip of 11 per cent for Honda. 

Honda has registered sales of 17,135 units in the domestic market in January 2016, which is a sales performance dip of 6.5 per cent from January 2015, when they achieved sales of 18,331 units. Furthermore exports have registered a huge decline of around 70 per cent. During January 2016, Honda Cars India exported 400 cars, as against 1,369 cars exported in January 2015. 

The winner for Honda Cars in terms of sales was the City, registering sales of 8,037 units. Followed by the Jazz with 4,709 units. On the other end of the scale is the Honda CR-V of which Honda moved 81 units.
