-New compact model from Skoda
-Premium hatchback that will be slotted in between the Fabia and the Octavia
-Will be launched on 6 December
Skoda has released an official sketch for the interiors of the Scala premium hatchback ahead of its debut on 6 December. It replaces the Rapid sedan and will find a spot between the Fabia and the Octavia.
In that typical Skoda fashion, everything is a bit understated and very neatly laid out. The highlight is of course a massive
floating display for the infotainment system while the whole cabin has been trimmed out in beige and black. Skoda has said that the virtual cockpit (visible in the sketch) will be an optional extra for the vehicle when it is launched.
Skoda has further revealed that the Scala will come with a massive boot of 467-litres which can be expanded to 1410-litres with the rear backrest folded down. In addition, they have said that the car will have a wheelbase of 2.6-meters and a full length of 4.3-meters.
While the Scala may not come to India, these sketches reveal what we can expect from the India MQB A0-IN underpinned SUV in 2020.Â
