Skoda has silently updated the Rapid sedan's Style variant with four airbags. Earlier, this trim only got dual airbags as standard.
In fact, dual airbags were standard across all the variants of the Skoda Rapid. Now, Skoda has equipped the Rapid sedan with two additional airbags. The top-of-the-line Style variant now gets front side airbags, in addition to the driver and passenger airbags. There no other changes to the sedan.
The price list on their official website enlists the Style variant at Rs 10,61,230 for the 1.6-litre petrol manual version. The Style petrol automatic costs Rs 11,85,300. On the other hand, the diesel manual version is priced at Rs 12,42,713, while the diesel automatic costs Rs 13,56,679. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
Skoda India had launched the facelifted Rapid in India in November 2016. It comes in three variants all equipped with dual front airbags as standard. The carmaker had introduced 16-inch alloy wheels and a reversing camera on the top-spec Style grade in April 2017. And this year, the carmaker has upped the safety quotient of the Rapid sedan by adding two more airbags to the top-of-the-line trim.
