Skoda India recently launched a special edition of the Rapid named Rider. It gets features and equipment similar to the base Active petrol variant, but is priced at Rs 6.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). Interestingly, it also sports some more features to differentiate it from the standard sedan. Here are the top four of them.
1. Black accents
Cosmetic changes include black treatment to some parts to enhance the looks of the car. These include a black grille, new decals on the doors and blackened B-pillars with the trunk lip too.
2. Dual tone interior
Inside the cabin too, the Rider edition is equipped with ebony sand black dash contrasting with ivory slate upholstery.
3. Inscribed door sills
Furthermore, Skoda has also equipped the Rapid Rider edition with scuff plates that come with a 'Rapid' inscription on it.
4. Exclusive colours
The carmaker is offering the Rapid Rider Edition only in two exterior body paint options - candy white and carbon steel.
It should be noted that it's only offered in a petrol manual model and diesel isn't an option. And since it's a limited edition, Skoda dealerships will be able to provide more information about the stock and availability of this trim.
