To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini Miura – a forerunner of all V12 Lamborghini super sports cars, the sports carmaker has unveiled the Aventador Miura Homage. The special edition car has been created by the company’s Ad Personam customization division. However, the company has restricted the production of the Aventador Miura Homage to only about 50 units.
The Lamborghini Miura has been a popular name in the supercar world. The special edition model continues to be powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine that generates 700bhp of power. Mated to a seven-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive system, the sports car is capable of achieving a top speed of 350kmph. Moreover, the car is capable of going from 0-100kmph in just about 2.9 seconds.
To differentiate it from the regular model, the special edition Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage will be offered in six shades including Rosso Arancio Miura, Verde Scandal and Blu Tahiti. The base of the car is painted in contrasting silver or gold trim. Speaking about the interior, it will be offered in either black or tan leather upholstery with a Miura anniversary logo stitched into the seatback in either gold or silver. The leather dashboard features "Lamborghini" embroidery which goes on to complement the staggered wheel setup which is available in either matte silver or gold shade.
